Thalia's eyes opened up, and her vision started to grow clearer. The sun shined bright through the open cracks of the curtains as she wiped her eyes and let out a long, silent yawn. Sunday morning, 9:23 am. Her mother, Justine Brandon, opened Thalia's door slowly. "Breakfast is ready, dear." Justine said cautiously. I'm going to be gone for a couple days, so you'll be home alone until dad comes home from his.. Business trip.
