Thalia read the sentence over and over again. The book described her dreams word for word. Tears began to trickle down her cheeks onto the wooden floor of her fathers bedroom. Chicago. "Why didn't he tell me.. How did I not know? Does this explain dads disappearances?" Thalia whispered to herself. Thoughts ran through her mind faster than lightning, but her train of thought stopped when she heard the door creak.
It was her father, Daniel Brandon.
He had wavy blond hair like Thalia, and eyes that were greener than fresh grass.
Just like Thalia.
Before her father could say a word, her eyes began to flood with tears.
"Why didn't you tell me?! What are you?! What have you made me?" She yelled, wiping tears from her eyes and sniffling.
"Thalia what were you doing in my room? What makes you think it's okay to go through my things?" Daniel said, trying to avoid Thalia's continuous questions.
"What makes you think it's okay to lie to your own daughter? What makes you think you can make me some.. Some monster!? Am I a.. Am I a monster??"
"Where's your mother.." Her father mumbled under his breath.
"Where have you been?" Thalia screeched. She stomped to her room and slammed the door behind her. By now it was only 3:04 pm on a Sunday, and Thalia was left crying in her room, until she had no tears left to cry.
Monday morning, 6:31 am.
Thalia wore a light pink shirt with white bands on the short sleeves, and light tight blue jeans with a pair of white all stars.
Her blonde, slick hair was in a ponytail. It showed off the faint freckles on her tan skin. Her mother and father wanted a rich girl reputation for Thalia, and it's not like Thalia was going to let her parents down. She felt like she's ruined them enough.
Dr Shaw was in the living room talking to Thalia's father about something having to do with cleaning the car. Thalia had no interest, so she called the only person she wanted to see at Brunswick High.
Jennifer Dawn.
Thalia had been friends with Jennifer since the third grade, they know everything about eachother. Including the dreams, the book, dr shaw, the pills, everything. Thalia was so eager to call her. The phone buzzed and buzzed, until Jennifer answered hovering suddenly.
"What's wrong, are you okay? Where are you?" Thalia asked cautiously, before she noticed Jennifer was crying with a raspy voice. "Thalia you have to help me please, I think I'm in your dream. Thalia, I'm in your dream! "
