We arrived pretty late around 9pm at night, i remember stepping out of the bus and this massive whirl wind hit my face...it almost ripped my head off mahn. The weather was so messed up that night, we offloaded our bags and my form one box as they call it and headed to the easy coach office. My mum tells me she has to go and book a hotel room where we would stay for the night, and i should stay put and wait for her. So am left with all the luggage in the office, its so cold in there and everybody is staring at me like i got horns in my head or something. I could see their faces, they were feeling sorry for me because i was too young and heading to boarding school all by myself to tackle life....*i don't need your sympathy people, ok, maybe a little but still...*
"Dave, cmon bring the bags lets go, " i hear my mum calling as she gets me out of my world of thoughts. The hotel building was looking pretty damn good from outside and to be honest i was not expecting that at all, i prayed so hard that the inside would be even better and strictly no bedbugs because you never know mahn, kenyans can be full of surprises. After taking a nice cool shower i had to sleep on the floor as mum took the bed, because all the other bigger rooms were already taken at that time. Thats what you get for not having relatives in this parts of the country mahn. I didnt sleep at all that night, i just kept thinking of my friends back in Nairobi and how tomorrow would be.
