We get inside the closet and find the trap door in the ceiling that leads to a ladder going up. "Be careful. You might slip off." I warn Percy as I start up the ladder. It is dark but soon,I open another trap door that opens to the roof. Percy is slightly behind me but is quickly by my side.
We make our way over to the edge and look out over the town.  Of course, you can see the whole campus from up here too. Across the big green yard, the dorm building we live in stands three stories tall and covered in red brick. I point it out to Percy and asked "Have you moved in yet?" "No, I'm staying off campus until my things arrive."
"Ok, here's the deal," I begin. But just then, someone starts to yell.  "What?" I tell myself. "No, no. This can't be happening. Please tell me this is a dream or a nightmare." Percy anxiously looks down at the voice. I shake my head as I see who it was. It was a girl with dull blonde hair and intensely gray eyes. She was wearing a bright, orange shirt that had black lettering on it, but I couldn't see what the words say and tan khakis.  I think I had seen her before, from a rival school.
Looking back at Percy, I say with a teasing tone  "My guess is this is Annabeth, your girlfriend. Am I correct?" Percy gave me a glare back that burned. I immediately shut up.  "We better get back to our school Percy or else Mr. Roade will not be happy with us. And what are you doing with her anyway?" Annabeth was practically screaming at him.
"I'm not doing anything with her. We are up here because she needs talk to me and I need to talk to her. That's all this is." Percy was trying to sweet talk her but out of the corner of his mouth asks me "What was your name again?" I slightly laugh at him and got a disturbing glare back from him.
"My name is Rockell." I sass at him. "Annabeth is right, Percy." another boy said. "We need to get back to school." Wait a minute. I knew this kid.  "Grover, is that you? " I ask with a joking attitude.  I used to attend that school with him, but on one of those anger days, I did something and was sent to this school.
"No, way. Rocky?! The gods have not been happy since you left" he says to me. I gasp. "Really?" I ask.  "And don't get me started on your Father." Grover informed me which made me nervously nod back.
"She knows about the gods!? How?" Percy eyes were huge as he spoke the words. Annabeth dropped the books she was carrying. Grover and I look at each other and crack up. We get a look from Annabeth as she picks up her things.
Giving up the idea we are going to get any privacy on the roof, we make our way back down ladder and out to the sidewalk where Grover and Annabeth seem to be arguing.
"You better explain this Grover or when we get back to school, I will tell Mr. Roade you told a total stranger about the gods" Annabeth warns him. I immediately knew who her godly parent was and it wasn't a good thing to me.
"Ummmmm. Ummmmm. Rocky? Can you help me explain this?" Grover asked, apparently confused. Or he doesn't want to get beat up. Neither would I.
"Why don't you ask Athena's' daughter. She probably knows. Don't you Annabeth." I say challenging her. She stares at me as if I'm crazy.
"Rocky, what did we say? 'Don't taunt Athenas' kids.' Remember what happened last time?" With that statement, Grover immediately brought me to memory lane.
