Graham's POV

Time suddenly stopped, I didn't know what to do. It was scary to know that something awful happened to me; physically and mentally. By the time I come to my senses, I was already lying on the ground. I remembered focusing my gaze on a girl across the street. But now my eyes are seeing the infinite sky.

I asked myself the same question over and over again, "What happened?". I felt unsteady as I heard people talking; some called out for help, and others talking about me.

I wasn't supposed to be here.

In the end of my vision, I saw her. She was running to me. That wasn't supposed to happen either. I was the one supposed to be running to her.

I lured my arm as I was hoping it would reach her; so I can finally pull her into my embrace. But when my brain noticed my arm, it was covered in blood.

"What?"

The more I looked up, the heavier my body shook. It all started to sink it. My vision started to blur on everything, but not the blue eyes that I've been daydreaming since forever. It feels like the world only belongs to us.

"Graham!"

She was calling my name, so smoothly it sounded like a lullaby. Then I noticed how her voice actually sounded, hurt. I couldn't see clearly but I could still notice the tears. She was crying.

Why was she crying?

As soon as I asked that, the dark came to me.
