*Louis POV*
Ever since Monday, when Hailey kissed me, I couldn't decide whether or not to tell Isabella. She'd be heartbroken, she's had nothing but that for her whole life. But would it be better if I tell her now rather then later?
I was driving to the bus stop just five minutes before five. I pulled up and waited in my car until she showed up. The music from the radio was just loud enough to be heard but not so loud that it distracted me from the outside of the car. I tapped my fingers against the steering wheel and hummed along to the tune, making time fly.
I looked at my watch and it had just passed five, I looked away and out the passenger window and saw Isabella climbing in. She smiled but she was hiding something. I hope her dad didn't do something to her again.
"Hey" I smiled.
"Hi" she said quietly.
"You okay?" I asked looking at her with her head looking into her lap.
"No" she said quietly and shook her head.
I sighed and turned to face her. I lifted her head with my index finger and turned her head to face me. To say I was shocked was an understatement. She had a black eye that looked not even a day old. I'm going to kill that man.
"When did this happen?" I asked sternly, scaring her little bit.
"Yesterday. But please don't do anything, I'm fine" she smiled at me but I could see the hurt in her eyes.
I sighed again, mostly trying to relax myself from the anger but also because I was about to tell her about Hailey.
"Hey Bella?" I asked nervously.
"Yeah?"
"Uh, how do I say this... Um this girl from school kissed me. But I swear I pushed her away from me as soon as it happened" I said quickly hoping she won't be as mad as I think she'll be.
"Oh okay... Why'd you tell me?" she asked a little hurt.
"Because I don't want to lie to you and I don't want you finding out some other way" I half smiled at her.
She returned one and looked up at me. Her eye did look really bad. I looked away not being able to face seeing her like this and started driving off back home.
"Are your parents home?" she asked as we pulled into the drive way.
"No they're out for the night" I smiled hoping she'll feel more comfortable.
I jumped out and raced to her side to open hers for her to. She giggled at me and I took her hand walking into my house. She was still shocked by it and I couldn't wait until I left school so I could be with her everyday.
"So how was your week?" I asked coolly hoping the answer will be good.
"Wasn't too bad. I drew a picture of you" she shyly admited pulling an artbook from a bag she was carrying.
"Really?" I asked walking toward her as she skimmed her book.
"Mm." she said "Here" she smiled showing me the portrait she drew, and it was amazing. I haven't seen talent like that by someone I know personally.
"I-it's amazing" She blushed, she's obviously never been told this before. I was about to look at the other pages but she quickly shut it. I just looked at her confused.
"Sorry, they're um personal" she said putting the book away.
I nodded but I don't understand why I can't see the rest of her drawings. I pushed it aside and went up to her again.
