-Louis's POV-
My last week in in Australia. It seemed to go so fast but so slow. I missed Bella like crazy, still, I tried to get her to video call me but I don't think she figured it out so we didn't end up doing that. I had to scroll through my pictures of her just so I could see her face but pictures weren't good enough. I needed the real thing in front of me.
Today was my last piano lesson and I had pretty much nailed the song, even with my few lessons and the one other time I came in, out of boredom, to practice, I had finished the song and was ready to perform, with possibly minor mistakes.
I had started playing and singing, again, getting more confident in singing and was now louder then the piano that anyone who came into the store would probably hear me, but that didn't bother me. The past three weeks here I have come to learn that I am a good singer and a good piano player, I've also learned that I am great in football, and I still stand by not bragging at my skills, but it feels good to actually believe you're good at something. The only thing I would say I'm not good at is relationships.
"Well done Lou" Mitch said clapping. He shoved his phone in his pocket then walked up to me, I was nervous about that phone.
"Thanks, I can't wait until I see her again. It will be the best day of my life"
"You really are smitten for this girl aren't you" he shook his head. "Look, I've been talking to my friend, he's in the music business and I mentioned you. I know you don't want to be in the music buis, but would you mind if I showed him? He'll be happy to hold on to it for whenever you change your mind"
Why not? I mean this could be a back up if my football career fails. Wait. Since when was I wanting to become a pro in football? My dad's gotten into my head again that's all it is. I shook my head to rid the thoughts of my career and continued my conversation with Mitch.
"I guess" I shrugged.
"Great, he'd be thrilled" Mitch smiled at me patting my back.
I turned back to the piano, there was an awkward silence and I didn't know what to say, so I just pushed random keys on the piano in front of me, making no tune what so ever, it was random, to break the quietness that came upon us.
My phone in my pocket, played the annoying ring tone, that I should really change, and startled the both of us. I reached into my pocket and pulled it out, checking the ID before answering the call.
"Hey Bella" I chirped.
"Hi Lou" she said and I could tell there was a smile on her face. "What you up to?"
"Chilling at the music shop, just got bored" I told a small lie.
"Sounds nice" I knew she wasn't the music type, she was more into the artistic stuff.
Mitch, who was seated near me, was mocking me silently, I just shook my head and rolled my eyes at him, pushing him a little.
"It is. Guess what" I said with excitement.
"What?" she asked confused.
"I come home in three days"
"Oh" was all she said. Wasn't she happy to see me again? Had I again stuffed up in some way that I don't know about?
"What's wrong?" I asked, panic clear in my voice. I couldn't help it, I didn't know if something happened to her or if I did something and will have to fight for forgiveness.
"Nothing, look I have to go, talk tomorrow" she said then hung up. What was that about? I wanted to call her back and ask what the hell that was all about but I didn't, for one reason only, she obviously didn't want to talk.
