I got out of the car and walked into my apartment building.
Man, was it hot everywhere?! I just had left to visit a old friend, but now I feel like the temperature rose!
As I walk past I see three of my best male friends. "Hey, Brook!" Kyle says. "Howdy!" James says. "Oh, hey t-there!" Drew says. Drew is kinda shy, but he's funny. I don't understand why he's shy. He's a YouTuber with like 12 million subscribers! Kyle is the cool one. He reminds me of my friend Micaiah. (And if she's somehow stalking my brain, don't get a big, or bigger head than you already have!) Now for James. He's the...*blank* one. I actually can't describe him...because he just doesn't have a description. But he's pretty cool too.
And if you really want to know if their cute or not, which you right now, yes you, are secretly wondering, they are, alright. Now calm yourself down.
"'Sup bros." I say doing the "what's up" nod, acting cool. They do the same. I laugh. "So, what are you guys doing?" I ask, still smiling in this hot, hot lobby. I mean literally the scenery is making me hot.
It has these large windows, allowing the hot sun to come in. It has faded yellow paint. Which is the kind of yellow no one likes. Yep, just imagine a yellow you hate and fade it. The lobby also has the old gray chairs and a sofa. With this large mounted tv, which is the only thing likeable. And also a doorway leading to somewhere else, which is also poorly painted. Oh, and don't forget the elevator and stairs. They are there too.
I can imagine you are imagining a terribly dirty, old looking building. (Maybe not the dirty part. I didn't mention that.) But, in truth, everything above is beautiful. It's a great place.
"Well, we were going to...guys what were we going to do?" Oh yeah, that's right. James is kinda stupid. Well, not stupid, but he has his dull moments. The guys looked at him will a "boi" face. "What?!" He says. "I just woke up and got ready and followed you guys. Well, not exactly. First, I woke up then I left my room to go eat something. Then I saw you guys getting ready to leave, so I yelled "waaaaaaiiiit!" and-"
"Okay, we get it, dude." Kyle interrupts.
"And if you didn't know, why did you attempt to answer?" Drew asks.
"I-I don't know!" James says with his hands in the air in innocence.
"Okay, can someone actually tell me where you guys are going?" I ask, but before they answer, I say "I'm not even interested in finding out anymore! See ya later!"
"Bye." They all say. "Jinx!" They yell and try to knock on the closest wood they can find, failing miserably.
I just leave and walk on this dirty beige carpet. You'd think this buildings owner would try to make a good first impression. But don't get me wrong, this floor is pretty big. I mean, that's if you were imagining a small musty room. I heard they were going to get it "fixed" soon anyway. So let's hope for the best.

Although I'm terrified of elevators, because they could just suddenly stop, I push the up button and get inside. From there I push the 7th floor button and continue my journey to dreamland. As in, I'm going to sleep.
I hear the ding! sound and continue to walk on. But as I do that, I walk past a strange man smirking. I give him a straight face like, "what the heck do you want?", and walk on. Well I'll be honest. I didn't exactly do that, I just gave him a straight face and walked on. And I kinda studied it so if anything suspicious happened, I can explain what the dude looked like. But as soon as I unlock my apartment, all I remember is fat guy wearing a black shirt.
Oh well.

"Brooklyn!" Someone yells, "where have you been?!" It's of course Olivia, my roommate.
"Well, I snuck out the house while you guys were sleeping. I didn't feel like answering questions." I answer.
"You didn't answer your phone either!" She says. "And since when do you get up early!"
I shrug. "Phone's dead."
"What if you got kidnapped?!"
"Stop acting like a mother." I warn. "It's not good!"
"We were worried like crazy! But you know Micaiah went to go ask your secret crush across the hall. You guys are OTP!!" Olivia winks.
"Oh shut up! I don't have a crush!" I say.
"Oh admit it Brook!" Micaiah says coming out of her room. "It's so obvious!"
"Whatever." I say annoyed, then I brighten up. "Hey, wanna do a YouTube video?" I ask smiling with eager.
"No," says Micaiah, the jerk.
"Sure!" Says Olivia, the also jerk but not so much.
"Ok, Micaiah you're doing one whether you like it or not. If you don't I'll tell Kyle..." I tease.
"Tell Kyle what? What?! Tell me!" Begs Olivia.
"I can't. It's blackmail." I say. "I'm just kidding. That didn't even make sense. But Micaiah was..." Then I whisper what happened into Olivia's ear. I back up and Olivia's eyes get big. "Wow Micaiah. Nothing to say to that."
Micaiah blushes and rolls her eyes.
"Are we going to do it in the living room or..." Everyone sits down on the couch. "Living room it is!" I say. "So what are we doing today?"
Then Olivia says, "probably getting the camera."
"Oh, right!" I say as I get up and run to get it.
I come back and put the camera into position.
"That's accomplished." I say. "Now what should we do?"
They shrug their shoulders and Micaiah says, "wanna do a 'mean comment' video? Those are always funny."
"Okay. Everyone go on every social media and look!" I command.
I turn on the camera and say, "hello people! It's Brooklyn," I start.
"And Olivia,"
"And me!" Micaiah says, ruining it.
"Okay, Me. Tell them what we are doing today." I say.
"We are doing a mean comments video. So prepare to see the tears and the laugh. By tears, I mean, it will be that funny." Micaiah says.
"Okay, let's get started. First one, Olivia?"
"Okay," Olivia looks down at her phone. "The first one is..."
