This little town, bustling with those who had no clue what was going on in the outside world. For some they were left with fantasies and stories of the warriors saving this small town of humans who where unable for battle. It was so peaceful, yet everyone fighting knew this happy little town would soon become a battle ground if they didn't reclaim some of their land. War was messy, any place could seem like a graveyard. This town, filled with flowers and happy smiling people couldn't just become another graveyard. In everywhere there was small hope, hope that friends and family would be safe. Some who had no family prayed for friends and to their Gods for mercy against bloodshed. The war would not be done that easily, no amount of praying or hopeless fantasies could save us.

"Xvana, wake up!" Aldric nearly shouted, pulling me out from the strangely soothing dream. I wished it was real, no wars, no bloodshed, no need to carry weapons for fear of attack. But it was all a dream. I also wished Aldric wasn't my betrothed, oh how I wished for someone who would show a little sympathy now and then. My eyes slowly begin to open, the bright light falling through the makeshift tent. "How can you sleep so easily? It's ridiculous." He said, the voice lower now as I rub my eyes and sit up pulling the thin wool blanket off of me. "It's called dreaming. You should try it sometimes." I retorted back, he stood at the end of my tent, eyebrows raised in confusion at the sudden outburst. "We're five miles away." He said as a reference to the town, the town I hoped to be as happy and lively in my dreams.

We were headed there, alone. There was a plan tomeet with an old friend, hopefully some family. Before continuing thispointless fighting, we would need a battle plan. Some way to sneak into theenemy camps and set them up for sabotage. It would be more difficult than itsounded. No, it would be pure hell compared to the plan.
