"N-no i didn't cut" i said while sobbing into connor's chest
"What's going on shayna? I'm really scared now"
"I have been having a really rough time at home with my step-dad. I wanted to go visit my dad but he wouldn't let me and he slap-"
"HE WHAT?!?!" Connor stood up and flung his arms up.
"He slapped me..." I said quietly looking at the bruise on my arm"
"What did your mom do?!"
"She wasn't home and he said if i told her then he would do something to me..." I trailed off a little bit
"I-i'm just so scared Con" i started crying again when Jc, Ricky, Kian, Sam, and Trevor come outside.
"Shayna? Are you ok?" They all say at the same time
I just shake my head and run out of the house and grab my penny board and ride it to the beach

I ended up at the boardwalk and i was just standing on the deck, near the carnival that was going on, and i just watched the sunset.
"Shayna" i heard a male voice behind me but i didn't move. All of a sudden i feel a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist.
I turn around to see Jc hugging me from behind. I turn around to hug him and i almost started to cry again but i just bit my lip so i don't.
"Why did you run off like that? We were all worried si-"
"How did you know i was here?" I said a little to snappy
"Mm i just figured you would" he said with a small smile on his face.
"Now will you tell me what happend?"
There was a small silence when i finally broke it
"Well my dad died when i-"
"Your dad died?"

Okay so, i was thinking i will be updating tusesdays and thursdays from now on. Im not sure why but i just feel like it would be better like that
