Firm
Stay firm, stay true,
Don't let other's success get to you,
Doing your best,
Should pass your test,
Cause your best is the best for you!
So?...
So what?
He plays saxaphone,
She sings well,
They never sit alone.
She's so artistic,
Athletic too,
He never gets a B,
You never get a clue.
So what?
You're amazing too,
In your own ways,
You shine through.
You may not do everything,
But you're not that far,
Why don't you accept it,
That you're a star?
Wall Flower
Flower on the wall,
You'll never get a chance
To grow nice and tall,
You're plastered behind glass,
You've never seen the grass,
You'll never see the sky so blue.
Do you know the soil?
Or how to work and toil?
Have you ever had a days worth work?
You'll never feel the pride,
Of going 'gainst the wind,
If you don't stand up,
And lean right in.
Sure you're nice and safe,
And have never felt the drought,
You may have plenty of sun,
And you'll live without a doubt....
But you'll life without joy
If you've ever known sorrow,
Today'll be the same,
As yesterday and tomorrow.
So I'll say again,
Little flower on the wall,
You'll never get a chance,
To grow nice and tall,
If you don't take the chance to live!
Paths
Life's not long enough,
To conquor the world.
It ripples and changes,
Like a banner unfurled.
There's just enough time,
To leave your footprint here,
Before you're gone,
In a blink and a tear.
Live life while you have it,
Choose your paths with care,
And you'll be able to boast,
"I've been there!"
Web
Spider web
Float and shiver
Fly caught
Quake and quiver
Eight leg stalk
Quietly whimper
Wrapped tight
Fresh fly dinner
