Cry me a river
Till the river runs dry
Runs past the beach
Where we last said goodbye.
Trickles to the ocean
Deep and salty blue
Tainted with my tears
Cried only for you
I'll sail to the sunset
Where all rivers meet
Beyond ground and sky
We'll kneel at His feet
And 'til that day
That the tide takes me in
The rose will never wilt
My love will always win
So, cry me a river
And I'll cry one too
I'll run past the beach
Where I last saw you
I'll follow my heart
What I know is true
Until I find those tears
That will lead me to you
