When I got downstairs, it seemed like everyone in the neighborhood was there.

“Sage! Thank God! I was beginning to think that you fell asleep up there,” My mom exclaimed.

“Im just going to go get something to drink, im really thirsty,” I muttered.

As I passed the living room I saw a couple dad’s from the neighborhood playing that really fun dance game, as I stepped outside to where most of the action was, I could already see the sun just beginning to set.

“Sage! Over here!” Louis called. As I gave him the finger ( the finger that means ‘one second’ not the offensive finger) I saw Harry sitting beside him staring at me, like just staring, unmoved. I huffed and went to find a drink.

“Hey dad,” I said as I got to the cooler. “What are you grilling?”

“Ah, a little a this, a little a that,” He said laughing and ruffled my hair. I rolled my eyes and walked over to Louis who was sitting by Harry, Liam, Zayn, Niall, and Blaze. The area where we were at was the secluded area by the side of the house, so it was like we were technically still at the party. I walked over and sat in between Zayn and Niall, who sat against the house.

“Hey guys,” I said smiling. Even though some of these were Louis’s friends, they were still the coolest kids I knew, corny I know.

“Hey kid,”Zayn replied slinging his arm over my shoulder.

“Baaaabe, so nice of you to join us,” Blaze said laughing. I smiled and shook my head slowly.

Niall turned to look at me. “So how are you?”

I shrugged. “Feeling better.” Liam smiled at me sweetly before everyone went back to talking about what they were talking about before. Zayn’s arm was still around my shoulder and he smelt delicious. I know I technically still have a boyfriend. But WHY DOES HE SMELL SO GOOD. I looked at Blaze who was sitting squashed up next to Harry, who looked beyond pissed for some reason. Louis stood up and stretched, his white vans digging into the pavement.

“This is so boooooring, lets get out of here,” He suggested. Zayn removed his arm from my shoulder standing and pulling out his phone. I frowned from the loss of contact.

“I’ll call Robin and see what the move is,” Zayn said, turning to walk away.

“Why don’t you just ask him now?” Someone said.

I know that voice, I thought as I shivered in fear. Everyone turned to see where the voice came from. And here comes Robin with the devil himself. David walks slower as he nears our group smirking. Robin comes around and greets all of the guys with that handshake that every guy seems to know.

“Hey Sage, Blaze,” he nodded in our direction.

“Hey,” Blaze replied.

I didn’t say anything. Actually I haven’t said anything since David crashed out party. How did he even know about this? I surely didn’t invite him.

“What are you doing here?” I asked David when he got closer to me. As he tried to go in for a hug I took a slight step back. Slight as in no matter how small the step was, he noticed. He stopped short, looking truly hurt.

“I came to see you,” He said innocently. I crossed my arms, aware of everyone’s eyes on us. I could see Louis out of the corner of my eye, ready to strike of David even looks at me wrong.

“Why?” I asked annoyed.

“I’m sorry, I’m a dickhead. And I don’t even know why I did it. But I know that I feel like complete shit for doing it to you, especially because I love you. It wont happen again, ever,” He  said sadly. He crossed his heart for extra emphasis.
