Gone for good.

Chapter 3

My groggy eyes opened, it took me a minute to remember all that happened last night. I just want to sleep until it's all over.

I grabbed my phone. I've never had that many texts before.

Messages 150
Mom- MADISON YOU NEED TO ANSWER YOUR PHONE. WHERE ARE YOU?

Dylan(: - dude, i just got your voicemail call me back.

Ms. Samson (Jason's mom)- Honey come home. Jason's scared.

Dad- You're moms flipping shit, where are you?

Mr. Samson- Jason's going to call the police and put a missing person report in.

Jason❤️- Baby come home to me.

Jason❤️- You're making a huge mistake.

Jason❤️- I'll make your life hell. Just come home.

I clicked delete I didn't want to read all of this. Jason sent me so many texts some telling me he loves me. Some saying the other girl is better for him than I'll ever be. I need to call Jason. This needs to end.

*ring* *ring* *ri-*
"Maddy?! Where are you? I love you!"

"Jason, it's over. Don't file a missing person report. I'm fine. I just can't do this anymore. You broke me."

"You're making a huge mistake baby" His tone changed... I've never heard him speak this way.
"You leave, I'll find you. Just wait, you'll come home. By the way, your mom's mad. She thinks you left way to early. Seems like you have no one left."

I quickly hit end.

I felt it coming up. I ran to the bathroom and started to hurl and cry. The door squeaked open, as someone grabbed my hair and held it back from the toilet.

Once it stopped I laid on the floor and cried. Derek's arms wrapped around me. As I slowly felt myself getting lifted off the floor. He carried me to my bed put me under the covers, the bed went down as he laid next to me. Derek rubbed my back very softly and quietly said "shhh it's gonna be okay abby" I turned around to face him and buried my head into his chest, as his arms wrapped around me.

It all felt easy, and perfect. All my troubles faded away. Derek was always right there.

Right when everything started being okay, I heard a knock at the door.

Derek got out of bed and I followed him like a lost little puppy.

He opened the door to a beautiful, tall girl with blonde long curly hair and blue eyes. Before I knew what was happening, he kissed her.

My head started to spin.
