Frisk's POV
After a brief vision from Chara's memory, I sat up. We were in the dump, at the end of it. Connie laid next to me, and the others laid on boards out in the water. I dragged them to the small island, checking each for injuries and if they were breathing. Everyone was alive, and unhurt save for a scrape or two.

I sighed, and sat back, enjoying the quiet. The music that haunted the waterfall area, usually in time of quiet, played faintly. Finally, they began to wake up, groaning. The music faded back into nothingness.

"Where are we?" Connie asked.

It looks like some sort of dump. Let's wake everyone else, then we can keep going.

"Good idea. I'll wake Steven first."

He pushed on the boy, and he slowly woke, his eyes fluttering open. I woke up Dipper, and he put his hand to his head.

"Woah... What happened?"

I guess we fell into a dump and survived. It's good that Steven has those abilities... Though I don't know what they are.

"Oh yea, he never explained it did he?" Dipper opened up his journal, to a page with Steven on it. It explained that he was a half-gem, or a half-alien that has magical powers and such. It reminded me of Monsters, but in a different way. I gave him back the book, afterwards. He had woken up Mabel while Steven recovered, seemingly tired.

You okay Steven? I signed, after tapping him on the shoulder.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I can't use my shields too much or I get really tired." I could see the strain on his soul, which was pink and white. He couldn't see it, but I could. I could see all of their souls now.

Connie's was a mixture of purple, dark blue and green, Mabel was mostly green with orange, and Dipper's was like fire, red, orange, and yellow. Mine was pure red- pure determination. I guessed Steven's was different because he was only half human.

I wondered why I could see their souls only now, and then I felt a presence at the back of my mind.

I'm back...

No! Chara! I couldn't let them do anything to this timeline!

Don't worry. I'm not as interested in killing everyone. I just want to see what these other kids do... They seem... Interesting...

Interesting? What did she mean? I was snapped back into reality by a hand on my shoulder, shaking it. "Frisk? Frisk!"

I looked at the voice. It was Dipper. "Dude, are you okay?"

I hesitated to answer. I wasn't sure how to feel about that... Demon... Being back, but I couldn't help it. I'm fine. Don't worry about me.

"You just, Uhhhh... Zoned out there. We wanted to make sure you were okay."

I smiled. Thank you for caring! But I'm really fine. Let's go.

"O-Okay..." I walked on, and saved behind them. We picked up the astronaut food, and walked past Mad Dummy, who didn't know what to do with so many humans. He was still mad though. My dodging skill, along with everyone else's, was good enough that Steven didn't need his shield.

Eventually, Napstablook came by, and saved us from the battle.

"Oh... I'm sorry... Your friend left..."

"It's okay! Please don't leave!" Mabel called to the leaving ghost. He turned back, and could see the smiling girl behind him. We all joined in, even Dipper, into making him feel better.
