Stand Out (You'll notice me.)

Standing she blinked and looked around herself, in confusion as she tried to figure out where she was. At hearing voices she turned and realized she was not alone. There were others, quickly running forwards she paused halfway between the three people. Realization dawned on her she was dreaming about some people named Kagome, Kikyou, and Inuyasha. Names so familiar to her yet so strange that she knew them. Almost she felt as if she were one of them. Her throat closed up as she tried to call out warn them. Instead, she was forced to watch.

Kagome whispered softly her voice rich and beautiful yet soft and frightened, "Inuyasha what are we going to do?" her innocent question held no answers, for Inuyasha knew there was nothing for once that he could do. Kikyou let her arrow go watching it fly in an arc, surprising Inuyasha who had thought it was headed for Kagome as it hit him. Swiftly she let another arrow fly along with two more. Laughing cruelly she left, leaving Kagome kneeling down beside Inuyasha.

As if in murky water the scene before her changed slightly, the people were gone along with the feeling of knowing who they were, to their names, and all but the forest and everything else remained. What is happening? A bloody haze seemed to wash over everything as nothing but death and destruction began to change the world around her. Screams along with the sound of her name had her turning in terror to find out where they were coming from.

"Kagome. Kagome wake up!" Kagome's eyes fluttered open in time to see her friend Sango standing over her bed. With a groan she rolled over on her side and looked at the clock. "How did you get in my house?" She questioned trying to ignore the fact that it was two hours since school had started. Sango just laughed nervously and another voice spoke up, "Well we could hear you screaming in here so I picked the electronic lock setup you had."

Kagome sat up and looked at Shippo who immeditly turned and stood facing the wall behind Sango. "Shippo you can pick locks?" Kagome asked as she shivered as the air touched her skin reminding her she slept in a see through teddy and her panties. She blushed as realization dawned why he turned around so quickly. Sango looked around and grabbed a robe handing it to Kaogme. Shippo the entire time that was going on only nodded his head in response.

Kagome giggled at a thought and stood up wrapping her robe around herself tightly. "You can turn around now. How long have you guys been trying to wake me?" Shippo turned and pointed at the slight mess on the floor, "You broke quite a few things before we could get you into bed and Sango here held you down. Your really strong by the way. But we have been here since about an hour before school was supposed to start."

Sango nodded in agreeance, "Yeah when you didn't show up for school last week after your first day. Well we got worried, and we sort of live on this block." Kagome nodded, "Sounds fair. I didn't even realize that it was that long. Sometimes my time gets messed up. My parents sort of bought the house and dumped me here. We have been moving since I was little and I stopped making friends. This year is different I can feel it. I'm not sure what my parents job is but I told them I didn't want to move anymore. So..."she trailed off and motioned around her.

Sango tilted her head and looked around before realizing something, Kagome could completely be part of the HOT crowed but was she choosing to be part of the Nerd Herd as the school Populars called them? Kagome went into her closet and called Sango in with her. "I'm sure your wondering about my choice of crowds." Sango just nodded, Shippo waltzed in and whistled lowly. "Lordy girl you could out do the entire school populars."

Kagome began to laugh as if something evil took hold of her causing Sango and Shippo to leave her by herself. "Idea!" She shouted happily clapping her hands. Coming out of the closet she began to tell of her idea. A complete make over for Sango and Shippo the plan was to create a new group. They were going to out do the populars and go to school looking hotter than before.
