"Olivia, Calum over here!" One of the reporters shouted.Calum placed his pair of expensive looking sunglasses on his face before walking quickly.
He walked with his head down, where as I was the one who was looking up and around at the cameras.
As an actress I didn't really get much paparazzi, maybe a few questions by fans and reporters about upcoming movies, but never this much attention.
I almost felt sorry for Calum knowing that he had to go through things like this and being mobbed by over obsessive fans and whatnot. But then I remember how much of a dick he is and decide he does not get the sympathy vote from me.
We keep walking and the amount of people here is really shocking me, I look I across the street to see normal people watching confused.
We step into one of the cars that had been called for us.
"Jesus princes, your hand is sweaty."
I didn't even notice how much my hand was sweating due to nerves. And I felt slightly embarrassed as he wiped his hand on his jeans in a disgusted manor.
"Sorry." I quipped out.
Calum went back to being on his phone doing whatever he does.
I tried to go on my phone also, to find something to do. I had been trying to stay off social media sites for today due to people talking about yesterday's premier events.
I decided to a quick text to my parents telling them that I missed them and that I would call them soon.
One of the most sad things about my job was being away from my family, even though if I had stayed in London I would have moved out, but I wouldn't be this far away from them.
I spent the rest of my journey trying to think of a way to tell Zoey about me moving houses for a while.
I really hope that she can manage to pay the rent.
Also I didn't think j would miss her that much because I was planning on spending my time still at my house just sleeping at the shared house.
I clambered out of the car- not saying anything to Calum who had done a successful job at ignoring me.
"I'm home!" I yelled as I set my keys on the hook beside the door.
"In here." Zoey shouted from the kitchen.
As I walked in she was preparing what looks like a bowl of microwaveable noodles.
I decided not to waste anytime in telling my best friend as if she saw me packing she would ask questions anyway.
"I have some news."
"Oh yeah? What is it?" She said absentmindedly as she read the instructions on the box.
"Well you know how I'm dating that Calum guy for the managers?"
She gave me a slow nod before going over to place the bowl In the microwave.
"Well they want me to move into a house with him. But it's just for a month or two at most."
"What? Just for a month or two? You know you're meant to be my best friend but I feel like I haven't a seen you In ages." She said raising her voice at the end.
"That's because some of us have jobs." I said under my breath.
Normally I wouldn't be this mean, but when I get angry it's like I have no control of my mouth.
"Don't you dare say that to me, you know I'm trying to find a job."
"Oh really how? By sitting doing nothing all day? By not paying rent and relying me to pay or for you?" I shouted back.
I didn't even know I felt this way it was a shock because I don't think I've ever said it let alone think it.
Zoey didn't say anything for a while before saying, "well if that's how you feel." She said before she stormed out of the house grabbing her jacket.
I Also noticed she didn't grab a set of keys like she normally did when she left.
What struck me was how true the words I said in my outburst were.
She hadn't shown any signs about trying to find a job and she hadn't payed her rent in 3 years.
Maybe she was just using me? I thought to myself. The thought hurt but what if it was true.
I was snapped out of my thoughts as I heard the chime of the microwave.
For a second I almost forgot about the noodles.
I thought that I may as well not let the food go to waste as I sat down after grabbing a fork.
I sat down to enjoy my meal. The surprising thing is that I didn't even feel bad about it.
