Harry's POV:
"Harry, where are we going? I thought you were going to give me a tour of the city." Vanessa asked me, looking lost.
I smiled slyly at her. "It's a surprise, darling." Instantly a look of shock formed on her face, and then she quickly replaced it with a scowl.
"I hate surprises." Was all that she said. Damn, did this girl want to have no fun at all in her life?
"Just keep an open mind today, and I promise I won't surprise you anymore unless you want to be, okay?"
She frowned and looked away, but I thought she was hiding a small smile. "Fine. But this isn't a date, just so were clear."
I smiled. If only she knew. "Don't worry, love. Today is going to be whatever you want it to be."
"Okay...but at least give me a hint to where were going."
I pulled the car into the parking lot of Holmes's Park. Nobody was there. It was perfect. It wasn't much of a park, but mainly just rolling hills of green, luscious grass- and over one of those hills was a picnic that me and the lads had set up in the early hours of the morning.
"Welcome to Holmes's Park, love." I shot her a wink and then got out of the car. I walked around to the passenger side and opened up her car door, sticking my hand out so she could grab it. She stepped out of the car and walked toward the park, barely glancing at me.
"Remember, keep an open mind." I yelled at her. I heard her sigh loudly. She turned around and walked back to me. When she was close enough I grabbed her hand and looked into her beautiful brown eyes reassuringly. "You won't regret today, I promise."
She looked deep into my eyes and nodded.
I led her through the park, still holding her hand. It was smaller than mine, but still strong. I liked how her hand fit in mine. It was nice.
Right before we were about to go over the hill, I put my hand over her eyes. At first she was confused but then got the message. I walked her over the hill and over to the red picnic blanket and basket. It was perfect.
When I released my hand, I heard her gasp. Her mouth hung open in an o, her eyes wide. I almost started laughing, I'd never seen her act like this. But instead, I decided to play myself if as the charming, cheeky British lad that I was.
"Do you like it? I made it all for you."
"I-I...I..." She stuttered. I took advantage of this moment and pecked her on the cheek.
"It's okay. I know you already love it."
Her eyes widened at first, but then she calmed and smiled. Because, no matter how tough she was, she was like all the others. And eventually, she would fall for me.
