"Body acceptance means, as much as possible, approving of and loving your body, despite its "imperfections", real or perceived. That means accepting that your body is fatter than some others, or thinner than some others, that your eyes are a little crooked, that you have a disability that makes walking difficult, that you have health concerns that you have to deal with – but all of that doesn't mean that you needed to be ashamed of your body or try to change it. Body acceptance allows for the fact that there is a diversity of bodies in the world, AND THAT THERE'S NO WRONG WAY TO HAVE ONE." - Golda Poretsky
Patrice
I woke up feeling groggy and disoriented. I dreamed of my mom beating me until I was forced to give her the money. I felt a piece of cloth covering my entire body.
I fluttered my eyes open to see where I was and found five handsome guys looking at me.
"Holy Fucking Greek Gods." I muttered under my breath and gaped at the seen before my eyes. I shook my head and wiped my teary eyes with the back of my hand.
They're real. Hold on girl. Activate imaginary leash on so that you wont pounce on these selection of delicious meaty creatures. Oh my goody-ness. Just looking at them is making me sweat like mad. They're the reason of GLOBAL WARMING.
"Inhale—Exhale." I said and tried to relax.
"Patrice, it's me, Calvin. Are you okay?" The blond guy asked me.
Calvin? Calvin? Who the hell is Calvin? I can't remember him.
"Calvin?" I said while thinking what happened for the last 24 hours. I remember that I felt dizzy and soon collapsed. I fell on something hard and I heard a faint voice saying "Help" before I totally black out—AGAIN.
"Maybe the tranquilizer has gotten into her head. Wait, let me give you some medications to make her feel better." A guy with jet-black hair said and opened his bag. He took out some tablets from his bag and walked to my spot.
"Here, take this. Guys, I need some water." He said and I saw the Calvin guy approached him with a cup of water in hand.
I took it and felt the cold sensation of water down my dried throat.
Oh, God. The water tasted so good.
"Thanks." I said gratefully and the guy just smiled at me.
"Do you remember me now?" Calvin asked me and I saw his eyes gleam with concern.
"Yeah! I'm sorry if I fell on you earlier." I said apologetically.
"Oh, don't worry. I tend to have that effect on girls. They can't help but fall for me." He said smugly and looked at the guys.
"Yeah. They fall for you—literally." The guy who gave me the medicine said and all of them laughed.
"Hi-la-rious. Really funny, coming from Finn the Human Jake the Dog." He said and sang the last part.
"Guys, shut up. Ask the girl if she's okay?" The guy with the chestnut hair snapped at them.
He looks like the mature and responsible one. Calvin and Finn looks like the cheerful and funny type. And behind him there's a guy with a bit longer hair was having this serious face and just looks at me.
What is wrong with him?
I smiled gratefully at him but he looked away and turned around.
Wow. The attitude!
I turned to look at the remaining guy and was welcomed by a Greek God with a windswept brown hair with sturdy, muscular physique; his eye were the definition of brown and has black specks. It's like he just got out from an Abercrombie and Fitch magazine.
