INT. VIVIAN'S LIVING ROOM - DAY
Vivian's house might have been a model from Home & Gardens if it wasn't splashed with violent streaks of blood and body parts. The room and bodies were shredded beyond recognition. In the middle of it all was a naked Vivian, covered in dry, cakey blood and dirt. Her hair was matted, eyes were bloodshot. She's in shock surrounded by dismembered members of her foster family. She's shaking violently.
The medical examiner team came in and processed the scene around her accompanied by a specialist.
Ginger is one of them and recognizes something familiar about the scene as she checks Vivian over.
GINGER
(to Vivian)
Is it alright if I take a look at you?
Melissa is the specialist and examines the bodies. She too recognizes the scene as something familiar. Pulling out her phone, she texts Nastia.
MELISSA
(Reporting)
Looks like an animal got in and did this.
(texting)
911
The police come on to the scene and one OFFICER seems to recognize the carnage as well.
The officer goes off to make a call and Ginger texts Bridgette.
GINGER
(text message)
Found her. Not alone.
(to Melissa acting shady)
I'll take her to the hospital to finish the exam.
MELISSA
(acting equally shady)
That's alright. I can do it. Besides don't you have to look over the other bodies?
GINGER
(slightly aggressive)
My team can handle it. Anyway, don't you have a report to file on the animal attack? Maybe tell the police what they're looking for.
MELISSA
I don't think that animal is gonna be a problem anymore.
GINGER
How do you know?
MELISSA
The same way you do.
The air between them gets tense.
CUT TO:
The Officer returns to the scene and everyone is gone
OFFICER
(snarls into walkie)
I need an APB out on a possible murder suspect and
(fades out)
