I don't mean to, but I do a thing that was a mix between a squeal and a scream. He laughs. Oh Lord. I have literally been in his presence for .2 seconds and I have already embarrassed myself.
"I didn't mean to scare you, but I wanted to ask you what your name is."
Ahhhhhhh. Why is this guy so hot. And why is he talking to me? Oh I forgot I was talking to him. I need to answer back.
"Oh sorry, my name is Julianna."
"Wow. That's absolutely beautiful."
I can feel myself blushing. I'm so embarrassed. I turn to look away while saying, "Um, I gotta go meet my friend at the dining hall. Bye."
I fast walk away. I can't believe that just happened. I turn around to see if he's still standing there.
He is. And he is still looking my way. Why did I turn. Ugh. Why am I so stupid? I suddenly turn around and walk away.
I'm totally out of breath when I reach the dining hall I look everywhere but I don't find max. I guess she went back to our cabin because I took too long. I'm still starving so I guess it's worth walking by myself for food. I begin at the start of the line and grab a plate and fork. I put a hamburger on my plate some fries and a cluster of grapes. I go get some sweet tea at the drink fountain. After I finish I go and sit down by myself and start eating silently. As soon as I stuff my hamburger in my qmouth someone comes and sits down beside me. REALLY!!!?? Once I think I can be alone and enjoy my food someone decides to come and bother me.
I look over with my mouth full of hamburger and meanly say,"What?"
I soon realize that it's the mystery guy. I turn around and spit out my hamburger in the plate nonchalantly. I turn back around and put a huge smile on my face.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize it was you," I laughed.
"It's cool."
"I never caught your name, actually," I played off.
"Oh I'm sorry, my name is Ethan. Ethan Dolan."
Wow that was a very sexy name. I wasn't expecting that.
"That's a handsome name for a handsome face." I flirt.
I have literally never flirted before, so I tried to keep it cool and classy. I'm pretty sure that it sounded cheesy but I honestly don't care. I'm just proud of myself that I got it out of my mouth.
"You sounded nervous saying that. But I think I'll ignore since a beautiful girl just complimented me."
My heart is melting again.
"I'm not beautiful, but thanks anyway." I sighed.
"Not beautiful, my butt" he said.
"Nice choice of words, but it's true." I argue back.
"Well okay not beautiful, I guess I'll see you around. But before I go, is it possible that I could get your number?" He asked nervously.
"Of course!"
I wrote down my number on a napkin and hand it to him, making sure not to smear the freshly wrote pen. He slips it in pocket and walks off, looking back at me every once in a while. Wow, I have never had a boy pay attention to me, much less asked for my number. And in this case it's a hot, muscular boy. My luck has changed ever since I got to this camp. And I plan to keep it that way.
