We slowly start walking further and further from our picnic area. We also walk deeper into the water. We are soon ankle deep wading in its darkness.
I bend down because something catches my eye, I pretty seashell. I pick it up, but soon realize that it's broken and a dud. As I am completely focused in the seashell, not knowing what's going on around me, I feel cold wetness land in my back. I turn around to see Ethan standing there innocently, whistling. I laugh and run toward him.
"Ethan Dolan! You asked for it!"
"Awe I'm so scared!" He says sarcastically.
I chase him down the beach, careful not to trip and fall. I finally catch him and jump on his back.
"Ha! Caught ya!"
"Sure whatever. I let you catch me." He says.
" awe a sore loser" I laugh.
"What no. Your just a sore winner," he complains.
I get off his back and pull down my dress. Maybe this wasn't the best outfit for this date. Caught up I my thoughts, he splashes water on my for the second time.
"Okay! You're going down!" I scream.
I lunge for him. He doesn't even try to move, he just lets me attack him. I jump on him, causing him to lose his balance. We both fall into the freezing water. We both end up laughing so hard our stomachs hurt.
"You aren't like I thought you were gonna be,"I say to Ethan.
"Is that good or bad?" He says smirking.
"It's great"
We both become quiet. I look down at the waves crashing into the horizon a few feet away from us. When I refocus I see that Ethan is staring at me.
"What?" I ask."Nothing. You're so beautiful." He says.
I blush extremely hard.
He moves his hand slowly to my cheek and moves a piece of hair away from my cheek and tucks it behind my ear. He then uses his other hand to grip the side of my face. We both move in slowly. His lips crash against mine, but in a soft, unforced way. He soon pulls away and we just look at each other for a few seconds. Nothing could get better than this. P
