The house looked bad. Most of the windows were smashed. Others were boarded up. The house looked deserted and like it had once been burned. Jonathan walked up to the house. He turned around, smirked, and gave us a thumbs up. He pulled open the door, which made an eerie sound. We all walked in except for Grace. She hesitated for a moment but slowly walked in, closing her eyes. We all examined the deserted home. Dust was everywhere, furniture and glass scattered the house and cobwebs were there as well. I looked on the carpet and found blood. Wait-blood?! I mean, I love scary things but, blood? Hah, no thanks. I tried to keep the bile that was rising up to my esophagus down. We all continued walking but the door slammed shut-as it always does in a story. Grace freaked out and started hyperventilating. Eric went to calm her down but she said, "No!! I want to get out of here and I want to get out of this damn house now!!" I turned around to face Grace. I was stunned, she never cursed. I turned the doorknob.
Locked.
I turned around once more to find that the lights were off. Nice. "Guys?" I said. No answer. "Jonathan I swear to God if this is a prank-" The lights turned back on. I saw Ian. On the floor. There was a knife sticking out of his chest with spiders crawling on the wound. I couldn't hold down the bile so that resulted in me throwing up. I quickly wiped my mouth off. Grace was crying and screaming that she wanted to leave. Eric kept saying that we couldn't; the door was locked. Eric seemed to be crying, too. Jonathan just looked shocked. I wanted to smack him for taking us here. I wasn't scared but I did want to get out. I began to hear something. Was it....
...Singing?
