The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Escape

Eric is walking towards me, knife in hand. My eyes expand and I start to run.

"Hey! I'm not going to hurt you! I just want to murder the bastard that's behind the killing!!" He says. I slowly walk to him. He looks desperate and depressed. I feel bad for him and for myself. I regret coming into this house. I lost two of my best friends and a crush (Jonathan). This is all Jon's fault. I wipe my bangs from my sweaty face. I see something out of the corner of my eye. I blink a few times to make sure my vision is in contact. I turn my head to see a little girl, about the age of 8, with 8 legs/arms. Both of her eyes are black and so is her hair. She was absolutely terrifying. I tried to look away but I couldn't. I must have been staring at her for a while because Eric turned around, too. His eyes widened. She opened her mouth to reveal lots of tiny, black spiders.

Eric and I screamed and ran towards the door. The door was still locked. The spider-girl was catching up to us. I heard the song again. It was very quiet and slow. "The Itsy Bitsy Spider went up the water spout.." She got closer.

"Down came the rain and washed the spider out..."

Closer.

"Out came the sun and dried up all the rain.. and the Itsy Bitsy Spider went up the spout again......" The girl lunged out at us. I flinched but Eric stabbed her with his knife and she screamed an inhuman scream. "Go! Go now! Save yourself!!" He yelled. My eyes slowly brimming with tears, I opened my mouth to reply. But Eric was dead. The door finally opened as the Spider-Girl scattered after me. I luckily managed to escape. I ran as fast as I could from that place. I yanked open my door, slammed it shut, and cried. My mom asked me what's wrong but I never told her. So now, if you read this story, you'll be aware to NEVER go to that house. Ever.
