Things have been very busy in the office, meetings here and meetings there. And finally I've been waiting for this day to come, because I'm gonna be watching Globalport's game and not only that, I'm finally gonna know who Mr. Unknown is. It has been officially a week now since we've been texting. And well I gotta say he seems like a fun guy that's why I cannot wait to know who he is. Lately, I've been sensing that something is happening between my Mom and Dad. I mean it's just not the same as it was before I left for New York three years ago. I feel like I've been missing out something important. I grabbed my things and reminded myself to ask Manang Isay about Mom and Dad. I got out of my office early today since it's Friday and every Friday I get to go home at 3pm. I made my way home since Dad and I planned that we would meet at home before heading out in the game and the game won't start until 4:15 so I still got time to prepare. As I walked in the house I was greeted by Oreo, as always.
"Hi squishy squishy Oreo." I gushed
"Aga mo ngayon ah?" Manag Isay asked
"Friday kaya ngayon, I get to go home at 3" I said happily
"Eh bakit wala pa Mom mo? " Manang Isay asked
"I don't know though, maybe she has a meeting pa or she needs to finish some things." I said
"Eh sasama ba siya sa inyu ng Dad mo na manonood ng laro?" Manang Isay asked
"I think no, she's been very busy lately. By the way andito na ba si Dad?" I asked
"Wala pa ata eh." Manag Isay answered
"Okay so speaking of Mom and Dad, may napansin ka bang weird between Mom and Dad?" I asked
"Ha? Anong weird, okay naman sila." Manag Isay smiled nervously
" Yeah I know okay sila pero, it's different eh. I feel like there's something wrong. Maybe I should ask them." I said
"Ay nako anak wag na. Baka dahil busy lang sila kaya akala mo may mali. Okay naman sila eh.." Manang Isay assured me
"It's just different kasi eh. Did something happen while I was in New York?" I asked
"Wala naman. Gaya ng sinabi ko baka dahil busy lang sila. Sige na magbihis ka na at baka dadating na yung Dad mo." Manag Isay said while walking on her way to the kitchen.
Manang Isay seemed to avoid the topic and it made me curious more. What's up with everybody making me curious? I ignored the heavy feeling in my chest and made my way up to my room to get ready for the game. I changed into a shirt that Dad gave me yesterday for me to wear at today's game. It says "Do Not Fear;Only Believe", and paired it with my ripped jeans and fave adidas shoes and my dark blue Givenchy bag.
