My Nuzlocke Diary

First Diary Log

My adventure begins, I start as a female named Sarah. After I change the time on the clock in my room I walk over to my neighbour and have a friendly chat. But, when I walk out and try to go to the grass area there is Prof. Birch, in trouble with a Zigzagoon! I have to grab a Pokémon out of his bag and use it to save him. I choose Mudkip. Prof. Birch then gives me the Mudkip and I name him Finn. I have to battle Brenden, my rival, and I win first go, Finn also levels up twice! I go back to Prof. Birch, and there he gives me my pokeballs and pokedex. As I leave, my mother gives me running shoes.

 Now, I'm off to begin my journey!

 As I enter Route 101 I encounter my first battle. I weaken the foe level 2 Zigzagoon, then just as required, I catch her, and name her Zig Zag.

I start training Zig Zag, being extra careful to make sure she doesn't faint in battle. Soon, she is level five, and she learns her first move 'Tail Whip'.

I leave for Route 102, where I battle a 'trainer Joey', I beat his Poocyena with Zig Zag in just two hits! I beat the other trainer - a bug trainer - quickly with just Zig Zag as well. I also took the chance to catch another Pokémon, I welcome Promise, my level 3, female Wurmple.

I help my friend catch a Pokémon, then I begin training up my Pokémon! I go to Route 104 and encounter Poochyena, I catch her at level 5 and name her ShadowKiss. Promise levels up to level 5 and gains the attack 'Poison Sting'.

Going back to Route 103, I encounter a Wingull, but as I was doing the last blow before I caught it, Promise did a critical his and Wingull fainted.

Promise hit level seven and hit a milestone in her life. She evolved. Although I was expecting Silcoon, she evolved into Cascoon, which I soon discovered was because of her lonely nature. Never the less, I'm proud of my Promise!

Soon, I'm leaving for Petalburg Forest where the first Pokémon I encounter is a Tailow. I catch her and name her Flute.

My challenge is going so well!
