I fly through the forest and I'm soon out and back into Route 104. I battle past all the trainers and heal my Pokémon at the Pokémon Centre. I battle with Promise and the best thing happens.
Promise hits level ten, and evolved into Dustox.
As a result of the evolution, Promise learns the move 'Confusion', which I happily make her forget 'harden' for.
But my happiness doesn't last long.
As I enter Route 114, I come across a Nincada. ShadowKiss was on low health, although I didn't notice, and Nincada took her out. I had to release ShadowKiss. I went on to catch the Nincada, and I named her ShadowBite.
Letting go of ShadowKiss was hard, I had already grown an emotional bond with the young Poocyena. But it was time to say goodbye. Going to the Pokémon Centre, I realeased ShadowKiss into the wild. I'll miss ShadowKiss.
I spent the next while training up my Pokémon for the first gym, and as I trained Finn he hit a milestone in his life. Finn evolved! He is now a Marshstomp, and he is great! After I trained up my Pokémon, I went in for the gym.
I sucessfully beat the first gym and I earned myself the Stone Badge! I almost lost Promise and Flute to 'rock smash', but they held up.
After I beat the gym I see someone run out of the city, after I heal my Pokémon I follow them, I run to the cave in Route 114 and I save an old mans Wingull, named Peeko. He says he'll take me to the Dewford Town, and I take up the offer.
Now, I'm in Dewford Town, I go through the cave without catching a pokemon and give the prof a letter. Once I'm finished, I attack the gym. I had a close call, I nearly lost Flute, but it was Promise in the end who beat the gym with her newly learned move 'Gust'.
The next gym will be a piece of cake with my team.
I made it to Slateport and I beat a few trainers there easily, but when it comes to beating the trainers in the museum, I lose Zig Zag. But not forever, I store her in the PC.
I step into Route 110 and the first Pokémon I encounter is Gulpin. I catch the Gulpin and name her Shirley.
I spend the next while training up my Pokémon (mostly ShadowBite and Shirley because they are lower level). I power through beating all the trainers, they were too easy for my Pokémon.
Then I was faced with my rival, Brenden. But with Finn, Flute and Shirley I powered through beating him just like everyone else.
Going through to Mauville city, I meet my friend Wally. He battles me, but I one-hit KO him with ShadowBite.
This wasn't so difficult at all! I'd train up my Pokémon and beat the gym leader!
