I jolted awake as the familiar sound of my alarm blast out of my phone. The room was lit from the increasing sunlight seeping into the room and it took me a moment to adjust my eyes to the unfamiliar setting and realise where I was. Rolling out of bed I grabbed the towel and toiletries that had been messily shoved into my bag and headed downstairs to find the bathroom located at the end of the hall. It was a large bathroom containing a free standing bath, separate shower and twin sinks with matching mirrors above. Stepping into the shower I allowed the hot water to run down my body as the room began to steam up and glaze over the windows. The sound of a door opening caused a small scream to escape my mouth as I tried to cover myself up. Panicking, I rushed forward to grab my towel thus colliding with the glass shower door that I had previously forgotten about. My face burned scarlet whilst I let out a loud groan as I felt a small lump form on my forehead and I saw the culprit frozen in shock at the door; coincidently still staring directly at my exposed body."Matt! Get the fuck out of here!" I screamed as he quickly averted his eyes.
I didn't miss the small blush on his face as he replied with a smirk, "you really should lock this..." before turning and closing the door as he left.
I wrapped the towel tightly around myself trying to hide my flaming skin and slowly opened the door to make sure no one is lingering in the corridor before I sprinting up the stairs and slamming the bedroom door shut behind me. To prevent further embarrassment, I quickly changed into a pair of blue, cuffed jeans and white t-shirt before wrapping a checked red shirt around my waist and slipping on the black converse I wore the night before. Although tattered and muddy, they were the only shoes I had until Sasha could take me shopping after school so they'd have to do. Grabbing my black leather jacket and cross-over school bag, I skipped down the stairs and was welcomed by the smell of pancakes and bacon leading to the kitchen.
"Morning!" I chirped hopping onto an empty barstool, unable to hold the blush that seeped into my cheeks when Matt smirked at me from the seat beside mine. "Breakfast smells great," I said trying to sound normal whilst ignoring the irritating man beside me.
"Thanks, I've been up since dawn!"
"Oh hush, Freddie! We all know that you can't boil water let alone make everyone breakfast without burning the house down." Sasha scolded with a playful smirk.
"That was one time and it's a lot harder than it looks!"
"Guys! Can we have our pancakes before you two continue bickering or do we have to starve to death?" I smiled, slightly worried we'd be there all year before someone gave in.
"I'm with Tam on this one, we have to leave for school in twenty minutes."
"Okay! Okay! But we're eating at the dining table. We need to go over a few things, for example all our new identities! Tammy, Matt, set the table please."

When everyone was sat down and had finished eating, Sasha produced three large envelopes and handed one to each of us. I carefully opened it and emptied its contents onto the table in front of me to reveal a passport, driving license, iPhone, credit card and $300 emergency money.
"Tammy, your new name is Beverly Scott. You're seventeen; from Anchorage, Alaska; and you like ice-fishing, cross-country skiing and hockey – more specifically you support the Anchorage Aces, an Alaskan minor league ice hockey team.
"Matt, your new name is Jake Harris and you're twenty-four. You are also from Anchorage; enjoy the same things as Tammy; a new English teacher at Millgreen High School; and you're my brother staying with us for some time.
