Point of View: Jax (The Target)
I ended the voice mail. And went down stairs to where my dad was. Then, I saw my friend , Rex and his dad James. Like I said before. My dad and his dad are great evil scientists.
"Jax! It's been so long since I have seen you!" Rex's dad, James said. He said in a smile. "Your son, have change since I last seen him , John." John is my dad's name. I forgot to mention that in the beginning. Sorry?
"Really? I see no difference. "My dad , John said. I gave him the look and he was still confused.
"That's because you see him every day. "James laugh. Then, we all laugh. You may think that we're nice people. But, wait for a few minutes.
"Hey Jax! Come and sit here with me." Rex said. And I walked and sat next to him. We all began to eat. Rex's dad make the best food. When I was little he have been teaching me how to cook without my dad's permission. When my dad figure it out.He started to make me do all the cooking. And now, I still do cook.
"So Jax what happened in the announcement today?" My dad ask.
"Mmmm..."I said to busy enjoying the food.
"I said what happened in the announcement today. At your school? "He replied.
"Oh that. The President of Scale Wind is coming to our school's Halloween party." I said.
"To your school's Halloween party? "James said.
"Yeah. They always celebrate Halloween and Christmas and all that stuff in school. Why can't they just give us a day off." I said. " Lot's of people there are really excited for it. I can just tell it's going to be borrrrrrring."
"Well, you are going to be there. Either if you like it or not." My dad said in a serious tone. I gave him another look.
"Your dad is right , Jax. It might be the only time in the year he will be there." James said.
"Well, it depends on that spy girl." I said. James was staring at me. He were confuse.
"John, what is he saying?" James said. My dad looked up and looked at us. Then, he started to become angry.
"There is a spy in Scale Wind High School. "My dad said as he broke the plat. He hates it when people are trying to stop him. That has been like that since his whole life.
"A spy? I throught spys never exist. "James said.
"Well, you throught wrong dad." Rex said.
"How can you tell she is a spy?" James said. My dad went to his lab and return with a laptop. He showed the picture to James. James was in shock,but mad at the same time.
"You see the glasses she is wearing?" My dad ask.
"Yes. Wait, those glasses can find people that are up to no good." James said.
"Yep. And guess who got noticed." Rex said as he looked at me.
"Jax? He got notice? "James said.
"Yes . Our plan will be destroyed if that girl stop us." My dad said angry.
"Is there more like her?" James ask. We all looked at each other. We weren't sure.
"We are not sure. So far we only know that she is a spy. "My dad said.
"How are we going to get what we want if she is going to be in our way?" James said. So far James and my dad are really angry. They have been planning this for years so I think I get them.
"Which I have plan to.....kidnapped her before the Halloween party starts. " my dad said.
"Wait what! "I said in shock. As I said that push my chair back and stand up." We can't just kidnapped her!"
"Why not?! It the only way we can have what we want !" My dad yelled." And what the heck is wrong with you. You are supposed to be bad not good." I began to think myself. I wasn't sure on what to say. But, I have to tell them my plan about tonight.
"Look dad," I began and all eyes went toward me." Before dinner, I gave a voice mail to her. I have to met her in 12:00."
"Why?" My dad ask.
"Instead of kidnapping her. I throught to scared her. Tell her some stuff will happend if she gets in our way. Isn't that a great plan?" I said and all of them were thinking about it. This may be a dumb plan , but it's worth trying.
"Okay, we do your way. But, if that doesn't work than we will kidnapped her. Got that?" My dad said.
"Got it." I said.
"Hey! Don't you have to go now? It close to 12:00." Rex said. I looked at the clock and he was right. It was close to 12:00.
"Well, then, see you later."I said as I got my jacket and walked out to the door. Let's see if she will come.
