Between Us

This is an AU where Honoka is a vampire and she feeds off from Maki.

It was weird how Honoka would always wear a hood to school, It was off, I remember we used to eat outside now we just stay inside our classroom like prisoners, Though we enjoy it.

It's been weeks since Honoka started wearing a hood, Sleeping in class is i guess normal for her, I'll give a scolding to that later but, She moved from the window to near the door. That's pretty weird.

She never attended P.E anymore. I asked our P.E teacher why she doesn't attend it anymore, They simply said that she had medications.

"Ghmm.." Honoka coughed while touching her throat. "Are you okay?" Umi asked. "Yep, Never better!" Honoka replied smiling though her lips were closed. 

"I see..."

After class Honoka walked to the Music room waiting for a certain red-head. She sat on the stool near the piano, But a ray of sunlight shone and hit her. "Ack..!" Honoka Ran but fell down, Just as she fell down a certain red-head opened the door. "Honoka!" The red-head ran to her and let her sit up.

"Yeah yeah. I'm Fine." Honoka said grinning showing her teeth, Maki quickly covered her mouth. "Do you want to get caught!?" Maki shouted in a really soft tone.

"Hm.." Honoka stood up.  Maki sat down on the stool and faced the ginger-head. "So, are you hun---" Maki was cut off by Honoka pinning her on the seat.
"Yup~" a deep sigh escaped the red-headed girl. Honoka slowly removed her blazer, Honoka glanced at the red-head who was now blushing, red.

She slowly unbuttoned the  top part of her polo, to get access to her neck. Honoka sniffed the crook of her neck
"H-Honoka... That tickles" Maki said stuttering in a soft voice. The ginger-haired giggled and tried to pull down her polo a bit more, to get more access.

"I'm doing it." Maki just hugged Honoka and shut her eyes closed. "G-go on.."  Honoka kissed her neck and slowly sank her fangs in Maki's neck. This caused the red-head to whimper and hug Honoka tighter.
After a few seconds Honoka separated themselves and grinned.

"Thank you, Maki~" Honoka said jumping off taking Maki's Blazer and gave it back to her. "Are just ever going to drink blood? What if i give you tomato juice?" Maki said as she started buttoning up her polo. "Hm.. Well Maki-chan taste better!" Honoka said, Making Maki blush. "Idiot!"

No one knew about our secret, It was always me and Maki-chan. I saw Maki-chan earlier in the morning, She looked tired and rather pale. I was worried that i might've been abusing of drinking her blood.

The next day, Maki-chan already wore a scarf. I asked if she was ever cold, She nodded and took my hand in hers, I asked her if that was the only reason, She told me no, In a soft tone, She told me that the marks i left on her, was a bit purple, and it was swollen, I was heart-pierced when she said that. I was getting a bit conscious about her health Maybe i shouldn't ask for blood anymore.

We're at the Music room, Honoka just sat there across from me and stared at me, Looking worried. "So, are you hun---" I tried to continue but she just started crying, I didn't know what to do, Or how to react, I tried asking once more, while removing my scarf. "Are you any hungry?" She shook her head.

'I lied...'

I haven't been eating my proper meals such as blood, I switched to tomato juice right after Maki had been wearing that scarf. I was getting dizzy, but it didn't bother me.

Maki looks back to normal now, I'm glad she's all better.. But i still haven't got any of my own nutrition.

someone was looking for me, they chased me With wooden stakes and garlic. I ran to Maki's house and Tried to jump up from her balcony. She was surprised why i was there, I shoved her back to her room and closed her door.

We sat down and talked about a issue i had, I told her about my nutrition and how my life is in danger, Maki was my everything. I didn't want to end my life so quick, but being born this way is just harsh for me. She cried and cried her tears won't stop flowing from her face. I wiped them away and held her hand. "Remember, I'll always be with you."

After i was done talking to her. I went back outside but something sharp hit my heart. It was painful. I touched to where it was painful and saw blood. I turned around to see Maki trying to open the door i locked. I smiled at her.

But...

I can no longer hold it in, I dropped down to the floor, My vision was blurry and i closed my eyes.

"Honoka!" was the last thing I heared.
