When it was time to get off work Marsha looked outside and seen nothing but a dark filled night. She had no apparent idea she was being followed or anything. She grabbed her burgers and placed them in a bag to tote home so she could have something to eat for tomorrow. She seen Nancy who was also busy busing tables. And wondered if they needed anymore help tonight. "Do you need any more help or am I good?" She asked Nancy. Nancy smiled and said, " Go home we're about to call it a night anyways. As soon as these customers leave." Her blue eyes and burgundy hair said it all for her and knowing that they close up 11:45 every night except Sunday. Marsha grabbed the door and smiled at her coworker and friend and twisted the door knob and stepped out into the drafty humid air and no sooner then she stepped outside there was a hand on her shoulder and a pair of eyes. She tried to get away and run back inside Quincy Diner. She pleaded and told the person to let her go and he grabbed her and led her to a van where she was screaming and kicking to get away. " Who the hell are you?!" She yelled and got no reply. " Let me go!! They will know I'm missing and y'all will be sorry!" Apparently she was thrown in the back and the doors had been locked. Her food was still intact in her hands and yet she had spilled her vanilla shake all over herself and this stranger. What did they want with her and why?
Why had they wanted her to begin with and a million of things were just so wrong with her life as is was.
She had been tied up for a while now and had felt the urgency to use the restroom. How was it that people whom did kidnap others didn't know when to let the victim eat or do what was necessary it would of given her a chance to escape. No sooner then the stranger went to reveal himself and had opened the backdoors of the van had she noticed a peculiar illuminating lightening her captor and it was coming directly from the sky. It was a sight and yet as beautiful as it was also frightening. As unexplainable as it was to Marsha, didn't understand why he was so intent on making it impossible to run away and she had no clue where they were or if there were others involved. He looked at her and yet the darkness of the night made it merely possible to view his face. Then that is when it all started the ground started shaking violently and there were more beams of light coming from the sky. The stranger fell down to his knees and started weeping loudly and she looked at him and was lost at words to say except scream and cry . It seemed like the world was somehow ending. It sure as hell felt like it. Marsha had to escape while her captor had been crouched down on the ground. She did just that and jumped over his bent body and sprinted towards the unknown. But yet it was anything but over for her or anyone else facing this horrific event. Who knew the damage or if it was still going to come down any moment?
