I threw my bag to the back of the bus, before strapping myself in and giving Alexandra the thums up. We never did get hold of Josie or Jess, but we knew we could use them in the future. Alexandra nodded in reply before turning and running onto the bus, into her seat. The sliding door slammed and I turned to cheeck we had evryone. Eloise, Jasmine and Lucy were holding the chainsaws that were built into the side of the bus, ready to anileate and Zombie that dared to get close. Alexandra sat, holding her gun tightly and gazing out the window, ready to shoot. Raphy sat next to me, also clutching a gun in her hand, her own bag at her feet. "Ready," I asked. Raphy turned to face me, a grin on her face. "Oh, I was born ready," She grinned. "Let's do this!" I shouted and a chorus of loud cheers echoed from behind me. I smiled before turning the key for the minibus, and pushing down on the accelerator.
All of Eastbourne was completely deserted. It was kind of freaky. The scilence was almost deafening, and it would seem I wasn't the only one who got the freaks by this alien scene. The bus was completely silent, and everyone kept throwing each other akward glances. Raphy sighed loudly, before spoting the stereo and smiling. "Hey, why don't we listen to some music?" she asked, looking around the bus. "Good Idea. But it HAS to be Vampire weekend ," insisted Jasmine. We all burst out laughing in syncronisation. "Sure thing, the disc of all our favourite music is in anyway, so, you put like... what... all her songs on there! Oh and there the firs ones, so I don't even need to search!" lauged Raphy, as she pressed the button for the stereo. Step started playing and I relaxed back into my seat, focusing on the road. I didn't want to hit anyone. I was sure there were other survivors. There had to be others.
We were Half way to Bristol, when the Petrol started to run low. I knew that there was a station near by, but We didn't know if it would be swarming with Zombies, or If there would be no Petrol at all. "We're running low on fuel, Raph." I said, turning my head to her, before returning my eyes to the road. "Or crapola. How much further can we do?" She asked, focusing her eyes on me. "There's a station about twenty miniutes away, but it could be dangerous or have no fuel," I warned. I didn't want yet another run in with zombies. Christ, it had been pure luck that I survived the jump last time. We couldn't risk that happening again. I couldn't risk it happening again. I wasn't losing any of my team. Well, to me they were family. And I refused to lose another member of Family. "Go for it. It's got to be worth a shot. Who are you taking with you?" She asked. I thought hard. Raphy would need to stay here, so that if needs be, they could make a quick get away in the bus. "Um... Eloise,Jasmine and I. We'll go." I answered. "What's happening?" Eloise piped in. " You and Jaz are coming with me at the fuel stop. Just in case, ok guys?" Everyone had been listening to the conversation, and I saw Jaz nod at me in my mirror. "Good, Get your weapons ready guys. God knows what kind of hell hole this place could be."
We pulled into the station, and Raphy handed me my Gun. I was only taking a pistol as I would be filling the bus, but I put my Famas on my seat just as I got out of the bus. "Just in case," I muttered to myself. Then I looked up at Raphy. "If anything goes wrong, get as many of us back on the bus as possible and go. Understand," I said urgently, as Eloise and Jaz started to walk caustiously around the station. Raphy nodded and I shut my door, and scurried to the pumps. I pushed the noze into the bus and prayed hard that it would work. I looked at the meter as it started to rise. Yes!! It was working, The tank would be full when it hit £200. I knew that if there were Zombies, we would have to lead them away. Any spark could set this of and then we'd all be doomed.
