The perfect dress

"Isn't it perfect?" Sophie squealed, coming out the changing room and twirling so I could see the entire outfit

She was wearing a simple pink dress with a sweetheart neckline and a pleated shirt. She'd paired it with a pair of nude pumps and some simple jewellery.

"Not my style but you look stunning" I told her, stretching out and standing up from the 'boyfriend chair' I was previously sat in

It was true, with her pin straight brunette hair -which I was adamant I was pinning up for her date- and amazing figure she did look stunning.

She reminded me a bit of a cheerleader, not one of the bitchy ones but one of the nice, preppy ones that everyone had a thing for.

"Really?" She grinned, spinning again. I nodded in approval

"Yes. Now hurry up and go pay for it, we have a hair appointment in like ten minutes" I said, ushering her back into the small changing room.

Five minutes later we left the shop having paid for everything.

We cut across the shopping centre towards 'Sasha's Salon' the name kind of reminded me of Bratz to be honest, it wasn't all that original but they were amazing, credit where it's due.

After entering the Salon, in literally two minutes we were both sat in styling chairs

My hair stylist was a young-ish man, he was eyeing up my slightly dead hair as if it had insulted him

"What are we doing with... This today?" He asked, his tone clearly betraying his disgust which I tried to ignore

"Not totally sure, I want a big change" I muttered, looking at my phone so I didn't have to pay him any attention

"Like colour?" He asked, fingering my hair

I looked up "yeah, something out there and unusual" like moi, I thought before looking down again

I caught him nodding out of the corner of my eye and then he set off to work

I know it's short but these are just kind of filler chapters before the main story and I don't want to accidentally drag it on too long.
