   I am so excited! I'm going to see Kai again after 9 years apart, my mom and my dad got divorced when I was 8. Kai my older brother was 9 he's a year older than me, when we split different ways I was so sad. Kai , at the time, was my only friend and he was also my only sibling, I just wanted to see him again. Earlier I asked Amy and her mom if she can take me to the airport to pick up Kai, and that is what I am doing now. I'm trying to find Kai in a large group of people, when I turned around I saw him, Kai my older brother with his orange red hair, his unforgettable freckles that scattered his cheeks and nose, and his smile that can turn your day from bad to great. I snuck up behind his back, pull him into a hug and yelled his name. "KAI!"

"KAI!" I yelled " Hey Dan so long no see." Kai said as he turned around and ruffled my hair. Even thought we are a year apart Kai is taller than me, I'm up to his shoulders. He gave me a huge hug, I grabbed his bags and we headed to Amy's mom's car. I put the bags in the back, Kai and I got in and we when our way home, " So your the famous Kai that I keep hearing about." Amy says to him. " And you must be the famous Amy I keep hearing about." Kai says back. We share a laugh, throwing funny puns and jokes here and there to lighten the mood, dam it feels so good to be with my brother again. I missed our usual brother gaming nights, and when I was little I was really really afraid of thunderstorms so when ever we had one at night Kai would let me say in his bed with him until the storm was over. My mother and I have known about Kai's travel here for some time now so we are turning one of the guests rooms in to his new room but until mom gets home the room won't get renovated. All of a sudden Mrs. Hearts stopped the car, l looked up to find that we were home. Kai and I got out, Kai got his bags from the back and I gave him the keys to the house. He went inside, while I thanked Mrs. Hearts and Amy for the ride.

"Thank you very much Mrs.Hearts."
" No problem dear, if you need anything just call us."
" Thank you, by Amy."
" Later Dan."

Amy and her mom drove off, while I when inside to see how Kai was doing. I heard the water running from up stairs, Kai must be taking a bath, while I mention it I need to soak my tail I learned that merpeople need to soak there tails for at least a hour or more, 7 is the max. I went up stairs to use the tub, I waited for about 3 hours for him to finish his bath I didn't think it would take too long. " Kai?" I yelled. No answer " Kai sorry to intrude but I'm coming in." I slowly open the door, and there was Kai in the tub pasted out in the water I nearly call an ambulance when I saw a long scaly tail hanging out of the tub. On the side of his shoulders was a golden crown like the one on my upper chest. My brother was not normal, but abnormal, he was one of us .My brother Kai was a
