Chapter 3

Brooklyn's pov

I fell for the bad boy is all I could think of as I walked down the school halls.
"Hey! You girl." I looked up to see Sabrina, the queen bee, walking towards me. I let out a heavy sigh, as she approached me.

"Leave Danny alone. He's mine!" She yelled at me while she jabbed her finger into my nail.
"Ow! That hurts!" I yelled at her as I smacked her finger away.

"Ya well if you don't leave my man alone there will be more then just that!" She yelled smacking me in the face and walked away. I put my hand where she smacked me. That girl has problems I whispered to myself and I walked to first period. I saw Daniel in the back of the classroom. My eyes watered a bit. I sat down next to him, not making any eye contact. I could see him staring at me from the corner of my eye. I moved my hand from my face and he gasped.

"What happened!?" He yelled. I didn't answer at first and he asked again.

"Your little skank told me if I don't stay away from her man meaning you she'll hurt me. She slapped me before she walked away." I whispered.

"My little skank? Sabrina?" I shook my head yes.

"First I'm not hers. We had a one night stand. I was drunk and it just happened but that's all. Just please tell me you won't listen to her. Please, don't leave me." I stared at him, my eyes still a little watery.
"I wouldn't leave you for the world Dan." I said. He smiled and I smiled back.

Dans pov

Her smile is just so contagious. So is her laugh. I can't believe Sabrina smacked her. I'll have to talk to her about that later.

"Danny." Brook said.
"Yaa beautiful?"
"The bell rang and your just sitting there staring me." She giggled.
"Oh sorry." I blushed a bit. Wait, I blushed! Damn, what is this girl doing to me? I grabbed her hand and we both headed to lunch, holding hands. Once we got there, Sabrina walked up to me, grabbing on my arm and yanked me, making me drop Brooklyn's hand. The tank was strong and because Brook didn't see it coming, she fell. My eyes widened. I yanked my arm free and ran over to Brooklyn. She was starting to get up herself, tears were forming in her eyes.

"I am so sorry Brook. I didn't mean for that to happen. Are you OK?" She shook her head yes.

"Danny baby. She'll be OK, she's a big girl." Sabrina whined trying to reach for my hand. I yanked it back.
"Don't touch me and don't call me baby." I yelled at her. We started to get an audience. A girl ran over to Brook, helping her stand since she felt light headed.
"But Danny were dating!" Sabrina smirked.
"We're not dating! We had one night and that night you handed me drink after drink and got me drunk! You took me to the bedroom and YOU took MY shirt off!" I yelled at her. Her face was now red and she was mad.
I turned to face Brooklyn and her friend.

"Let's go guys." I said taking Brooklyn's free hand, her friend still holding the other. We walked out the cafeteria.

"My names Dylen. I'm Brooklyn's friend. I'll take her in the bathroom real fast and clean her up." The girl said. They walked into the girls bathroom. I looked back at the cafeteria doors and saw Nick coming towards us.
"Hey man, isn't that Caleb Klays little sister?" Nick asked. I shook my head yes.

"She know your in the gang?" He asked while leaning against the wall crossing his arms and legs. I shook my head once again. He just nodded.

"I paid the boss back." He said.

"So your leaving?" He chuckled and shook his head.

"No I'm gonna stay. It'll make me stronger, Caleb said he wants me to keep his sister safe the night he died."
"He said the same to me." I said. The girls came out and as soon as Brook saw Caleb she stopped in her steps and her eyes were wide. I smile crept on her face.

"Nickyy!" She yelled running over to him and giving him a hug. He hugged her back. For some reason I felt..jealous?

"Long time no see." Nick said. Brooklyn shook her head.
"Hey, you all wanna skip the last two classes and go get something good to eat? My treat." Dylen asked.

"Umm..yeah sure why not?" Brooklyn replied. I grabbed Brooklyn's hand while Nick walked over to Dylen and they both started a conversation.

"You OK baby?" I asked Brook. She started blushing.

"Ya I'm OK. Thanks for asking." She said smiling up at me. I smiled back.

"Ok Dylen and I will go in my car and you two can take Danny's." Nick started. "We'll meet up at McDonald's Dylen said." Nick finished. I shook my head saying I understand and lead my beautiful nerd to my car. I opened the passenger side door and she got in. I quickly ran around the car to the driver side. I started the car and drove off the McDonald's.

Nicks pov

I just can't believe I saw her again. It's been almost a year since I seen Brooky. I miss Caleb so much. She reminds me of him. It hurts to know that I'm in the same gang that killed him. I can't drop out now though. I already committed to it. I already said I'd stay. Ughh! I feel so bad though! Brook doesn't deserve this. Maybe I shouldn't tell her. But I can't lie to her! If she's OK with Dan being in the gang then she should be fine with me. I'll just explain what her brother wants me to do and how being in the gang will make me stronger.
"Nick Danny Michael Luke Ash and Adrian! I have a mission for all of you!" My boss yelled. "This one will take time. Another gang threatened us. You need to find out which one and kill them. It'll be hard but I know you guys can do it! Don't fail me!" He said leaving th warehouse. My first mission. I can do this I said. Do it for all who I love. Do it for caleb.

Not such a long chapter I know I'm sorry I promise the next chapter will be longer and have more drama.
