Chapter 4

Brooks pov

I haven't seen Dan in school all day. I find it a bit weird. I mean he's been here for the past two weeks then all of a sudden he's not. I was walking to lunch when I heard someone call my name. I turned around to see Dylen running towards me.

"Hey, have you seen Nick today?"

I shake my head, "No. I haven't even seen Danny yet." She nodded.

"Do you like Nick?" She blushed.
"Aww!"
"You can't tell him though. It'll be awkward if he knew."
"Why would it be awkward?"

"Because I know for a fact that he doesn't like me. He's more of Sabrina's type. He's one of the schools bad boys."
"I can tell you he's nowheres near Sabrina's type. I've known him for a while. He used to be my brothers best friend." She shook her head.

"What happen to your brother?"

"Let's save that for a different day." I said while I took her hand and lead her to the cafeteria. Once we got there, there was a big circle and a lot of noise. Dylen grabbed my hand and lead me over. I pushed through the crowd to see Daniel on top of a boy. He was wearing a foot ball Jersey so he's clearly on the football team. I think his name's Sebastian. He asked me out my second day here but I turned him down.

"Daniel! Stop!" I yelled. He punched the boy again. He clearly didn't hear me. I yelled it again, he didn't hear me.

"Caleb wouldn't want this!" I finally yelled. I know I shouldn't but that's the only thing I could think of to stop him. He looked up at me. He got off Sebastian and glared at me. He had a bloody nose and a bust up lip. The other kid had much worse.

"I'm sorry. I just didn't-" he interrupted me.

"Don't ever say that again!" He yelled. He shoved my shoulder, passing by me. I turned around to see that he was walking out of the cafeteria. I pushed passed the crowd as well, chasing after him.

"Dan, I'm sorry. I really am. I just didn't know how else to get you to stop. I was scared I didn't want anyone to get hurt or anything im really sorry." He just stared at me. My eyes started to water. I hate seeing him like this. I guess he saw me crying cause his face softened and he walked over to me, pulling me in a hug.

"I'm sorry baby. He said he could take you away from me. It just made me really mad." I smiled up at him.

"No one can take me away from you." He smiled.

  "And no one can take me away from you." He said kissing my forehead.

  "So..uhh..are we dating?" I asked.

"Do you want to date me?" I shook my head yes. He got down on one knee and took both of my small hands into his large ones.

  "Brooklyn will you please do me the honors and be my girlfriend?" He asked.  I smiled.

  "Yes!" I said.

Dans pov
  She said yes! I picked her up by her waist and spun her in a circle. Once I put her down, she started giggling.

  "Friday, me you and a wonderful evening. Ok?" I told her. She shook her head.

  "Yo! Dan the man!" Nick said walking towards me. I groan and Brooklyn laughs.

"We uhh..we have something to do." He says, nervously. I look at him confused than it pops in my head. He didn't tell Brook he's in the gang yet. I nod my head at him and look back at Brook.

  "I'm sorry princess, but I have to go. I'll call you later." I say kissing her forehead.

  "Ok. Talk to you later." Brook says as she walks back to the cafeteria.

  "So you and Brook." Nick says, smirking at me. I smirked back at him. When he wasn't paying attention, I grabbed his shoulder and shoved him into the locker.

  "Dude! That hurt!" He said rubbing his shoulder, the one that got slammed into the locker. I smirked at him. We walked to my car and drove to the ware house to meet with the rest of the guys.

  "Yo Dan! Nick! Adrian got a head start! We found one of the guys who are in the gang. We don't know his name or anything, but at least we know what he looks like." Luke said. I walked up to the computer they were looking at and I couldn't believe my eyes. I looked at Nick and I could see he was upset and surprised and angry as well. The guy in the picture was Brooklyn's brother, Caleb.

Nicks pov

How the fuck is it Caleb! He's supposed to be dead!

  "Nick, that's Caleb." Daniel said slowly. I nodded my head.

  "I thought he was dead." He continued. The other guys clearly weren't here when Caleb was because they looked at us like we had three heads.

  "Me too." I said standing up straight.

  "You wanna go?" Dan asked me. I nodded.

  Me- Hey princess.
Brook💖- 😊 Hey.
Me-wyd on this fine evening?
Brook💖- Lol nothing much you?
Me- Same.
Brook💖- I have a question..
Me- Ask away.
Brook💖- Is Nick in the gang with you as well..?
Me- Baby girl, I think you should text him and ask. I don't think I'm really the one to be telling you..I'm sorry.
Brook💖- No it's OK..I'll text him now though.
Me- Ok.

Brooks pov
Me- Hey. I have a question and I want you to be completely honest with me.
Nick😜-  Okk
Me- Are you in the gang with Daniel??
Nick😜-  Ya..it's a long story for why I'm in there, I don't really feel like sharing right now but just know I was able to leave. I stayed though because your brother wants me to take care of you. The gang makes me stronger so I'm able to do that favor for him.

  So he is in the gang. I don't really know if I'm upset or angry. I know I'm definitely scared though. I know two people, who I deeply care about, are in a gang. I also know which one and where they hide. It's not safe at all!!

  Damn, I wish Caleb was here. Why'd he have to jump? I would have been OK dying, to save him.

I love and miss you Caleb. Always and forever.

Soooo maybe this chapter isn't as good as I hoped..sorry..

I'm also sorry for the constant pov changes I just feel like this chapter would be good that way with everybody's opinions and how they all feel. This book will mainly be in Daniel's pov but I will still change it every now and then..
