Saved By The Nerd

Chapter Two

  Ya I might be in a gang and all, but I still go to school. I woke up at 8:30 to the sound of the alarm. I jumped in a quick shower brushed my teeth and put on some clothes. My outfit contains of a white v-neck t-shirt and a pair of black jeans and white and black Nike's. I grabbed my black leather jacket and keys and headed to school.

Brooklyn (nerd)

  Today's my first day at school. I walked through the doors to the school fixing my white skirt and baby blue button down flannel. I looked down at my shirt to make sure it was still tucked in. I fixed my glasses on my face and looked down at my white converse. I walked to the main office.
  "Hi how may I help you?" The lady behind the desk asked.
  "Hi, my name is Brooklyn Klay. I'm new here. May I please get my schedule?" I asked.
  "You sure can." She smiled and handed me a piece of paper.
  "Thank-you." I said.
"Your welcome sweets have a nice day." I smiled to her and walked out the office. I looked down at my schedule. First Class is maths F-56. I looked up and saw a big "F" on the wall so I figured I'm already in the F wing. I walked until I found F-56 I walked  into the class.
  "You must be Miss.Klay. Welcome you may have a seat next to the boy all the way in the back right corner." The teacher said. I nodded my head yes and walked to the back. The boy sitting there watched my every move. I felt a bit uncomfortable. I looked at him from the corner of my eye. He was scrolling through his phone.
  "I know your looking at me." He said putting his phone down. I blushed a bit.
  "Sorry." I said shyly.
  "Ehh can't blame you. I'm very good looking." He said. I looked over at him. He had Brow eyes, black spiked hair and a bit of a tan. He was indeed good looking. I shook my head at him.
  "Your hot." The boy said. I blushed. A lot. I bet you could put a tomato up to my face and it would blend together.
  "Um thank you." I said.
  "No problem beautiful. My names Daniel. Schools bad boy. I'm only nice to some people. Your one of them I guess." He said smirking.
  "Ooh.  I'm Brooklyn and that's um..a good thing I guess."
  "It is indeed." He said flashing a very white smile. I can't help but smile back.
  "Can I see your schedule?" I shook my head yes handing him the Piece of paper. He scanned over it.
  "We have all the same classes together. So just stick with me. I'll walk you to all of them."

  "Ok. Thanks." I smiled.

"Ok. I'm going to begin class." The teacher said. I didn't pay attention at all. Daniel and I talked the whole time. I would figure the school bad boy would be well..bad. However he's actually really nice to me.

Daniel

  Brooklyn is really pretty. She doesn't have her face caked with makeup or wear skirts that show her ass or heels that make her look taller then she really is. I like that about her. I know you would figure bad boy just trying to get into her pants. But I'm really not. Something about her makes me forget that I'm a bad person, that I'm in a gang.
  "Mr.George!" My history teacher yelled. I heard Brooklyn chuckle a little next to me. I turned my head and smirked at her.
  "Yes Mr. Dena?" I asked.

  "What's the answer to the question?" I read the question. I know the answer but I have to act like I dont.

I chuckled. "I don't know."

  "1875." The teacher said. Then the bell rang.

  "Do you want to sit with me at lunch Brooklyn?" I asked rubbing the back of my neck.
  "Call me Brook. And yeah sure." She said smiling. I threw my arm over her shoulder and we both walked to the cafeteria. Once we got there everyone stared. I know bad boy good girl/nerd. I looked at Brook and we was staring at her shoes.
  "Come on." I said leading her to a table. We sat down and just talked the whole period.

  Damn I think I'm falling for the nerd.

  I walked through the doors of the warehouse.
  "Yo Danny you and Nick have a mission. Someone messed with my daughters heart. Now don't kill him, just beat him till he can no longer take care of himself." My boss said.
  "Ok got it. Have a name?"
  "Yeah is Sebastian Tyru." I nodded my head. I know the boy. He plays on the football team and there practice tonight so I know exactly where to go.

  "Yo ain't Tyru on the football team?" Nick asked as we hopped into his silver Lexus. I shook my head yes.
  "So we'll just go to the football team and wait till practice is fine and everyone's gone." Nick said.
  "Yup. Look at you. Learning a lot already." He smirked at me as he started the car.
  Once we arrived everyone was gone and Sebastien was still there packing up. Good, no waiting. Nick walked ahead of me.

  "So you think it's right to mess with a girls heart?" Nick asked. Tyru looked up and chuckled.
  "Nick stop acting like the big bad wolf. You know your nothing."
  I stood there, watching Nick.
"Hmm OK." Nick said. He quickly grabbed a big chunk of his hair and punched him in the mouth.
  "Still think I'm just nothing?" Nick asked while the kid was hunched over holding his mouth. A kick to the stomach, then a punch to the eye, another kick to the stomach then a punch to the throat and a kick to the dick. I smirked. Nick sure is a bad boy.

  "Mess with a girls heart again and see what happens." Nick said while he walked away. Sebastian just layed there. 

Nick walked over to me. 
  "Let's go before I kill the guy." He said walking past me. He got into his cat and started it. I hopped in the passenger seat as my phone vibrated. I pulled it out my pocket.

Okk!! See you in a little bit!!

I smiled to myself.
"When you go back in, tell the boss I left. He'll understand." I told Nick.
  He shook his head. When we got back I got in my car and went to pick up Brook.

"Can you tell me where we are going?" Brook asked. I looked over at her.
  "No it's a surprise." About 10 minutes later I pulled up to a cliff. I come here a lot when I need to think. I got out of the car while Brook just say there. She looked petrified.
  "Brook, are you coming?"

  "Umm..y-yeah." She said unbuckling her seat belt and getting out of the car.

  "What's wrong?" She shook her head.

  "What's wrong?" I asked again.

"If I tell you, you can't tell anyone." She said, sitting down.

  "Ok." I sat down upfront of her, grabbing both over hands.
"Last year, my brother Caleb, jumped off this cliff. He did it because he was in a gang. He was aloud to tell people that he was in a gang but not which one and where their hide out is. Well, he told me both. It pissed me off that he was always ditching me and leaving me so he told me he was in a gang. I asked which one and where it was at. He said he couldn't tell but I begged him and he eventually told me. Well the gang leader found out and they were gonna kill me and him. They said the only way to keep me alive is if he jumps off this exact cliff. When he told me that's what he's gonna do, I begged him not to. He eventually told me he wouldn't and I believed him. Later on that night he snuck out and came here and jumped. I woke up the next morning to a letter on my desk explaining what he did. Then I heard my mother scream, I went downstairs and he wrote a suicide letter. They didn't know he was in a gang and all so he had to act like it was suicide. It was all my fault though." By the time she was done explaining it all, she was crying. I knew her brother. He was in the same gang I'm in. Caleb Klay. Now that I'm thinking of it, he said that if I ever meet his sister, to keep her safe. That's exactly what I'm going to do. For my best friend and the girl that I fell for.
  "I'm gonna tell you something." I said. She shook her head.
  "I'm in a gang. The same one your brother was in. He was actually my best friend. He told me what he had to do I tried telling him no don't do it that I'll protect both of you. He said he wouldn't. When I was asleep the night he did it he sent me a text saying if I  ever meet his sister to protect her and keep her safe. And that's exactly what I'm gonna do now. Brooklyn I know I just met you but I know for a fact, that I fell for you. I fell pretty damn hard for you."
  "I don't like that your in a gang. But that doesn't matter cause I fell pretty damn hard for you as well." I smiled I leaned in and kissed her. At first she just sat still then she kissed me back. After about one minute she pulled away.
 
"It's getting late." She smiled.

  "Ya we should get going." She shook her head and stood up I sat there for a minute staring at her. I fell for the schools very beautiful nerd.
