The first day back I didn't know how to act around AJ, but he was completely sure how to act around me. All eyes were on us, as we walked down the halls Susan was astonished at what she was seeing. I know this is wrong but it felt so good to see her like that, all mad and ruined. She got a taste of her own medicine, and I was the one who shoved that feeding tube down her hot iron throat.
The next class I heard her talking to other people, saying the only reason I was with him is because she was pregnant, and he was scared of commitment. So I turned around and well I kind of broke that bitch's nose. Surprisingly enough I didn't get into any trouble. The teacher's  class I was in hated Susan and said nothing about it. After class she was all bloodied up and I told her to never lie about him again, because there is more where that came from.
At lunch AJ sat next to me and asked if it was true.

"Did you really bust her up?"

I was scared to answer, but then I said yes.

"She said that she was pregnant and that you were scared of commitment."

He reassured me that she was for sure lying because every time she wanted to, he said no. It was so cute how he believed that you should wait till marriage. I agreed with him and he smiled.

A few more days passed and everyone was being asked to homecoming, AJ being the captain of the basketball team asked in the biggest way ever. Let me explain, I was getting my things from my locker at the end of the day like I always do. The halls were suspiciously empty and I knew something was up. Here comes AJ alone he took my stuff and my hand picked me up and ran out. I was shocked by that, and started smiling like my day was made, but this was just the beginning. His truck was parked outside the door, he threw me in the back,  jumped in and then Kenny started driving. The back of the truck was so cute. He had put a mattress in the back, made with cute white sheets and a down comforter. There were gold and white cans on the back like a newlyweds car would have, and red rose petals all over the bed. Not only was this guy attractive but he was sweet, thoughtful, and so romantic. Then he did the cheesiest thing. He got a little piece of paper out of his pocket that read,
"Will you bee my date to homecoming?"
With a cute little drawing of a bee! Of course I said yes, and we had a great night. Everyone was in on it, my mom, dad, his parents, and all my two friends.
The dance was on November 14th, because our school didn't have a football team, they only had a basketball team. We agreed on the color blue, and because of our height I didn't wear heels. I'm 5'10" and he being only two inches taller than me I didn't take a chance.
Susan wasn't going to homecoming. She said even if she was asked she wouldn't have gone because she was going to Japan for a "fashion show". Yeah fashion show my ass.
So the time came, to pick out a dress. I went shopping with my friends Katie and Hannah, but I didn't buy anything. I was going to make my homecoming dress. My grandmother was a seamstress, and she taught me how to sew when I was twelve. So I went shopping for some fabric, no patterns, I always do it from scratch. I decided to go with the color baby blue, because I love it. So I got to designing my dress, I only had a month to make it.
Finally after days of slaving over my sewing machine I finished my dress. It was gorgeous! Homecoming was only three weeks away now and I couldn't wait.
The days leading up to the dance were terrible. Susan was trying everything to get me kicked out of school, from framing me of cheating on tests, to trying to get me to break her face again. I didn't give in, because I knew I had something she wanted and she could do nothing about it.
It was the night before the dance, and I heard a knock on my window, AJ had climbed up my tree outside my bedroom and onto my roof. We sat out there for a few hours, then said goodnight and he left. The next day was surprising.
