I enter the place slowly with Alex in my arms, shielding her eyes. Today, she officially gets out of the center and gets to go home with me. I am so damn happy. "Can I open my eyes now?" She says with her hands on top of mine, trying to remove them from her eyes.
I look around to make sure everything is well put together. Suddenly, I remove my hands, revealing her personal dance studio. There's a large mirror in the back, with ballet bars near the mirrors. There are large chandeliers in handing from the ceiling, setting the mood of the studio.
I managed to get a publisher to bring attention to this place; which worked out perfectly fine. Since everybody read/heard that Eli and I had something to do with it, more people signed up than we expected. Jessica has been a big help, providing them a slip in a form of a packet, and helping me with decorations. Jessica and I walked in here with a crowd filled with moms and their daughters.
A lot of moms are so happy that San Diego finally has a dance studio where they can bring their daughter right after school. Some of their daughters even told me they love dancing more than anything, and I know Alex will be perfect for this job. She's a good ass dancer. Give her a song of any genre and she'll dance to it.
She gasps after Eli, Karen, my mom and sister shouts out surprise. "OH MY GOD!" She spins around, reminiscing the room. "This is so amazing." She runs to each and one of them and hugs them tight then comes to me last, kisses me and hugs me tighter.
"You like it?" I whisper.
"Like it? I love it!" She shouts.
"Good." I walk over to Jessica and took a stack of packets from her hand. "You have a lot of people that'd like to sign their kids up." I hand it to her.
"Woah! Already?" She looks at them.
"Yes ma'am." Karen walks up to us. "And if you need any help with this place, I am right around the corner from Damien's house?" She smiles wide. "Literally. These to goof balls." She points to Eli and I. "Won't even go 5 miles without living near each other."
"No you can't." Eli adds in. "When you come from the hospital, I expect to spend some time with you."
Alex giggles as Karen rolls her eyes playfully. "Fine, but I'll be here from time to time."
"I'd like that." She turns to Jessica. "Would you like to help also?"
"I thought you'd never ask!" Jessica skips over to her and hugs her tight. Jessica loves to dance also. My parents put her in a little dancing classes in the ages from 5-12. After that, she started dancing for her school. Chorography isn't her dream like it is to Alex, but she admires it. Hell, she's the one that taught me how to do the "Lean With It, Rock With It."
"Come on, lets go eat. I'm starving." My mom grabs Alex and exits the studio.
"Wait!" Alex says.
