As days go on, Alex and I relationship tends to becomes stronger and stronger. We cannot live without each other, even through our small arguments, which I sometimes let her win. Her dance studio is great and has been getting more publicity. My shoe line is about to come out pretty soon and I have to be in Los Angeles to promote it and sign some of the fans who already ordered it.

Eli and Karen's marriage is coming up, and I have to plan his bachelor's party. Alex is with Karen right now, picking out dresses. Jessica is currently living with my dad, which he says that she's improving and acting really good. See what my father can do to people. Runs in the Carter blood.

Speaking of dad; he must've done something to get back on my mom's good side. They disappeared for a while, next think I know, she came back smiling. He probably gave her that Carter d*ck.

If you really want to know what happened between my parents, well here it goes. My father slept with her best friend. It happened so quickly. He was drunk one night , and her best friend so happened to be there. He, of course didn't know what he was doing, but she did. She could've prevent it from happening , but then again, my father too. Maybe. I don't know how this drunk stuff works.

Instead of my mom figuring out the hard and bad way, my father told her the truth. He was tired of living in a lie. My mom was furious and whopped her best friend ass and haven't spoken to her since then. My father felt bad and tried to do everything to get my mother to stay with him. He even refused to sign the divorce papers. He loves her so much.

So technically they're still married.

Turns out, all along her best friend liked my father for the longest. My mom just got to him first.

"Bro, I'm stuck." Eli says, while looking for a tux.

"On what?" I ask. "Don't you guys have the colors planned?"

"Not on that. My vows." He faces me. "I have a lot to say, but I don't want it to turn into a chapter book. I want to sum it all up, but I can't."

I laugh. "I thought this was something serious."

"This is serious." He speaks. "What about if her vow is short and mine is long, or the opposite. Dawg, I want this wedding to be perfect."

"Don't stress about it. The meaning of vows is a solemn promise, along with you spilling your feeling for her. Doesn't have a limit." I look around this place and find a nice suit I can wear, but it wouldn't match with the rest of the groomsmen.

"I want her to tear up, like they do in the wedding movies." He smiles.

"She most definitely have gotten to you bro." I laugh.

He sucks his teeth and continues to search. "Whatever. I just can wait till she walks across the aisle, and I meet her half way and take her away from her daddy." He looks around. "Damn, the wedding planner should be here helping me find a tux. This is too much." He walks towards the exit.

"So you made me drive here for nothing?" I pull out my keys. "Gas isn't free nor cheap."

"It wasn't for nothing. We actually searched, but after Karen buys her dress, the wedding planner will come and help me buy mine. I don't want to choose the wrong shade of color."

"I understand." I look around this nice elegant plaza and find a Kay Jewelers right there, sitting pretty. "Why don't we go check out Kay right fast."

"Why do we have to check it out. I already brought Ka..." He stops and smirks. "You're thinking about marrying Alex, aren't you?" He asks and starts walking ahead of me.

"I've been thinking about it. Actually, fighting about it. Part of me thinks it's too soon, the other half says go for it." We enter the store and I stood there in awe.
