Luke woke up the next morning in Han's home, in Han's bed, in Han's arms. It wasn't like he didn't remember what had happened, that wasn't the case at all, it was just it had all seemed so surreal. Of course he was wee bit sore and quite embarrassed, but it was nice, welcomed, even. They hadn't gone all the way, if that's what you're thinking. They had gotten rather touchy feely, though. Let's just say it involved fingers and mouths. It was pleasant.
"Good morning, Moonshine." Han mumbled softly, voice thick with sleep. Luke smiled warmly, leaning into Han's touch.
"Good morning, Sailor." He replied, voice gentle and low. They laid together quietly for another hour or so before getting up to make a quick breakfast. Eventually, Han looked at Luke warmly.
"You should take a shower, Moonshine." Luke blushed and looked to the side, embarrassed. Han chuckled. "I meant it so Leia doesn't ask about your total hot sex hair." Luke's face only turned more red. Han smiled warmly and led him upstairs to help him with getting it started.
Once Luke was comfortably in the shower, Han checked his phone. It was lit up with notifications from both Chewie and Leia asking where the fuck Luke was. He went to reply to one when his phone rang. It was Leia.
"Hello--"
"Where's my brother, you twit? He never checked in last night!" She was mad, clearly.
"He's fine, princess, he's here with me." Han tried to remain calm, but it was obvious Leia could kill him.
"Put him on!" She cried.
"He's in the shower."
"Why the fuck is he using your shower?" She sounded more perplexed than angry that point.
"Because he wanted to wash the pier off him?"
"Han, if that were the case he would've showered last night." Han fretted, he couldn't lie his way out of this one for sure. Leia was way too good at reading her brother. He was at a loss. What if Leia wasn't crazy about the idea of him and Luke being together?
"He, uh, just wanted to wash the sleep off, then."
"Han, what did you do last night that made him forget to shower?" Han choked on his own spit, mentally cursing Leia for just knowing absolutely everything. It would be so much more convenient if she was just oblivious. He sighed.
"Do you actually want to know or--?"
"Did you two fuck?!" She cried dramatically. Han groaned.
"No! Leia, god, relax, okay? I didn't fuck your brother. We just did a lot of touching." His voice trailed off as he reached the end of his sentence. Leia gasped for effect.
"You got each other off?!"
"It was consensual, if that's what you're worried about!"
"Of course that's what I'm worried about you nitwit! But not only that, is he okay?" She asked softly. Han smiled at her uncharacteristic worry.
"He is, Leia. He is okay." He heard her breathe a sigh of relief.
"I swear to god, Han, if you hurt him--"
"You'll kill me?" Leia laughed.
"You think I'll be that merciful?" She said bitterly, but her voice betrayed her playfulness.
"You're right, you'll probably freeze me in some weird chemical block for a while so it feels like I'm dead."
"You'd be right, Mister Solo." They both laughed.
"Hey," Leia started, voice soft, "have you thought of a colour yet?" Han bit his lip, trying to think. He didn't want to lie about it, but he didn't want to seem like he hadn't. With a sigh, he gave in.
"No, I haven't. He's too unique." Leia hummed in agreement.
"You know," she said, "He asked me the other day if a precious metal could love an everyday rock. Do you know what to say to that?" Han thought for a moment before telling her 'no'.
"I told him yes. The precious metal can only exist because of the everyday rock. It needs it to even become the precious metal. He smiled. I think he was comparing you to the metal and himself to the rock." Han scoffed.
"I don't think he realises that it's the complete other way around."
"Then show him, lover boy. Show him that you view him as the precious metal." Han agreed and they said their goodbyes. As he hung up the phone, Luke walked out of the bathroom in a scarlet towel with a blush on his face.
"Han?" He asked, curious of Han's intense gaze. Han didn't reply, but simply wandered up to him and cupped his cheek gently, a small smile on his lips. They stared at each other for a short while before Han leaned in slowly to capture Luke's lips with his own. Luke let his eyes slide shut as he kissed back softly. There was no need to rush or push, they had all the time in the world. There would be time enough at last to simply be.
Of course, the red hot, scarlet streak of speeding time waits for no one. So time still does pass, regardless if you make the time last.

Sorry for uploading so much later than usual, had a busy weekend (Read: shitty weekend) and struggled with writing this chapter. It's mostly dialogue but I'm quite fond of it.
~Friendly Reminder~The series is coming to a close! You have five remaining chapters and (probably) an epilogue with a sneak peak at the sequel "Can't Spell Shit Without This" at the end. Remember, CSSWT is kylux-centric and will have a low-key skysolo subplot. If that's not your jam, sorry. The prequel, "But You Words Could Kill Me" will be re-written and updated before the sequel is put up. That's all for now!
