Chi Cheng flung the woman's body away from him; her blood wasn't as good as it had smelled. With the soft thud her body made when it hit the floor, she disturbed the peace in the city. Her blood began to pool around her neck on the floor, the moonlight making it glisten. He sighed at the mess he had inadvertently made while wiping his mouth with the sleeve of the long, black trench coat he wore. He wasn't sure as to whether or not he should leave the body there because it wasn't like she was dead, she had just lost a lot of blood. He walked toward the edge of the building and sat down on the ledge. Taking out a cigarette, he took in the sight of the city. He let out a long puff of smoke as he looked down at the 4 ant-sized humans walking across the street illegally.

"What could they have possibly been doing at 3am," he muttered under his breath. They walked into the building Chi Cheng was on top of and he sighed. After he put out the cigarette, he stood up and walked over to the storage that was just a few steps away from him. He got a mop and a bucket, walked back to the body and wiped the blood off her neck. He propped her up against the wall as he cleaned up the blood with the mop; he didn't like to leave a lot of evidence because it caused problems. There were footsteps that were getting louder with every second from behind the closed door. He put away the mop and hid behind the storage just as the door made a loud squeaking noise. The screams of the people slowly faded away as he jumped from the 10-story building.

He had taken a detour to the park after he jumped. It was a nice place to sit and let the cool breeze hit his face. The sun was beginning to rise and he sneered. As beautiful as it looked, it was annoying since its rays caused him pain. It being already summer didn't make anything better for him. He didn't think he was going to take that long getting back, so he had left his umbrella back at his home. Instead of walking back home, he took a taxi. Once at his humble abode, he flopped down on his couch and turned on the television. It was no surprise to see that the top story was about the woman and the 4 young adults that found her on the roof of a building about 3:15am. 'What were they even doing there in the first place,' he thought while shaking his head. He was starting to zone out when he got a call from a friend who was in the same predicament as he was. Not wanting to hear the phone ring any longer, her picked up the phone.

"So I see you had a bit of fun this morning," the voice on the other line said jokingly.

Chi smiled mockingly as he said, "Perhaps I did, Guo. Is that all you called me for? I have better things to do at the moment."

"Like what? You usually do nothing. All you do is sit on your ass the whole day, go to clubs or eat." Guo started to laugh as he heard the silence coming from the end of the line. "Well, I see you're doing fine. Until then," he said before he hung up the phone. Chi Cheng stared back at his phone and threw it to the side. He decided that it was time to get some shut eye since he really did have nothing better to do. A snake of his slithered next to him and he put his arm around it before fully going to sleep.

By the time he woke up only a few hours had passed by. The sun was at max power and he decided to stay inside for the rest of the day. It was really going to be a long summer.

They'll meet within the next chapter or two. Probably. Like I said, we'll see how this goes. :P
