It took a very long time for this awkwardly worded chapter to come out because I didn't think the whole story through. Whoops. I just wanted to get it out before I forgot what I wanted to write. By the way, this is in WSW 's perspective now. I now know what direction this is going in, so expect chapters coming out once every week or two weeks. Sorry for the delay and enjoy!

I walked out of the bar along with my girlfriend, Yue Yue, my roommate, Jiang Xiaoshuai, and a random person we met in there. He seemed like a pretty good person and from what he told us in there he was new to the place since he had just gotten promoted and had to move to take the job. We congratulated him and I suggested that we take him to see how beautiful our city looks like from above. It was hard to carry Yue Yue since she was a bit drunk and whenever she stumbled, I did. (I told her to not drink so much, but she did. She never really listened to me, but I love her nonetheless.) There was no stirring of the trees' leaves and the moon shone ever so brightly. What a perfect night it was! We walked across the street not caring that the stoplight was a good 15 steps away from where we were. No cars were in sight so no harm was done to anyone. Jiang was talking to the person since he knew I was concentrated on not letting Yue Yue fall. (Did she always weigh this much?!) If she did manage to fall and hurt herself I would never hear the end of it. Anyways, I would never want to let her get hurt in the first place. Nope, not on my watch.

The building we were walking to was a recently abandoned office building. It was made up of all concrete and it looked more like a shady hotel if anything. The door groaned as Jiang opened it and held it for all of us as we entered. I looked to the side and saw a switch, which I flipped. It did nothing, which made sense since the light bill probably hasn't been paid since the company left. Jiang pulled out his phone and used it as a flashlight. Now having a better view of the floor and where the fire escape was, which lead to the roof, were, we walked towards them. I knew it was going to be a long trip the minute I looked up. So many stairs! I whistled in astonishment and looked back at my girlfriend who was still very tipsy.

"Do you think you can manage carrying Yue Yue," Jiang asked. Who does he think I am? I'm so strong I can probably carry 4 people at the same time who weigh as much as her!

"Of course I can! This is no problem," I said as I began to put her on my back. I really wanted to go up on the roof. Not entirely for the guy, but so that I could share the moment with my girlfriend, even if she probably wouldn't remember it. I just felt really guilty that I haven't been able to go out with her as often as we used to. It would be nice to sit and see the sun begin to rise. I just really hoped that she would sober up by then. Once she clasped her arms around my neck, we began our trek. When we were half way up the building it occurred to me that I didn't know the guy's name, even though we already told him ours back at the bar.

"I know this is a bit late, but what's your name anyways," I asked. I wasn't really that curious, but it was a good way to break the silence.

"Me? My name is Zhang Wei," he replied.

"You are really something else, you know! You are probably the only person I know who would willingly follow strangers to the roof of an abandoned building just so you can see a view," Jiang said while laughing softly. Zhang Wei and I joined in the laughter.

"You guys don't look like bad people. Plus, when I saw Wu Suowei's eyes, I knew there was no malicious intent," Zhang said while looking at me. I get complimented on my eyes so much, but I don't see the appeal! I made a 'tsk' noise, but my emotions betrayed me and I ended up smiling at him. A compliment is a compliment!

After that moment of chatter, there was really nothing else to say, I think, so we were silent. I was sweating buckets and I guess Yue Yue felt it because she started mumbling that she wanted to walk by herself. I put her down as and she glared at me. I don't know what I did wrong! She walked passed Zhang and Jiang, who were ahead of me by a couple of steps. Yue Yue was the one who opened the door, and then disappeared. There was then blood-curdling scream. My heart began to beat fast as the adrenaline kicked in. I pushed Jiang and Zhang out of the way as I ran to the roof. I opened the door and looked to the side to see Yue Yue standing against the wall pointing at something. She was babbling incoherently and my eyes followed the direction her finger was pointing to.

"Oh dear," I let out. How do you react when you see a body whose head is swimming in their own blood?
