abella pov

i got up from the couch after sitting there scrolling through insta, twitter, and tumblr for at least a good 30 minutes. i totally forgot about nate and i meeting up for coffee today until i heard a sudden alarm go off on my phone. 

"shit shit shit shit" i said as i stood up looking at the digital clock on the kitchen counter. i read 1:27, we're suppose to meet at 2!

i ran upstairs pounding on claudia's door

"claud! open up! i totally forgot that i'm meeting up with nate today! help me pick an outfit while i go get ready!" i heard her groan as she slowly opened the door

"why in the hell are you meeting up with nate? i thought you didn't like him??" she said with a questioning look on her face.

"i mean i do, but like he wanted meet up and he offered me free coffee. i live for coffee claud. now please help ya girl out!" i said scrambling to my bathroom. i heard her following me behind into my room, sliding open my closet door.

i quickly did my makeup, straightened my hair, and putting it into a half up half down bun. i walked over to wear she was and she picked something out that looked like i'd go clubbing in...

"oh hell no claudia" i said as i started putting it away. she ripped it out of my hands.

"oh hell yes abella! show him what he's missing out on!" she said with a smirk on her face while admiring the outfit she picked out.

"claud. we're going out to get coffee. not go clubbing." i looked at her with a 'duh' expression on my face.

"fine. fine. whatever you sayy" she said as she put the dress back and took out something more subtle. she took out a grey cropped sweater with white jeans.

"roshes? or superstars?" she asked me as she pointed to the 2 pairs of shoes.

"would the superstars look okay?" i asked tilting my head to the side a bit.

"exactly what i was thinking!" she said as she shoved everything towards me. "now change please! i didn't get up from bed to pick out an amazing outfit for you for nothing!" 

i looked down at my phone and read 1:43, and i quickly changed. i grabbed my black michael kors purse and walked back downstairs to find claudia rummaging through the fridge.

"hey could you grab some take out for the both of us on the way home?" she asked while still looking in the fridge for food. 

"yeah whatever" i said while looking back at the clock 1:52. 

"i gotta go now! see you later!" i half shouted while nearly almost out the door.

"WITH FOOD! REMEMBER!" i heard her scream back

"YEAH! WITH FOOD!" i yelled back as i closed the door shut.

i walked down the driveway as i unlocked my car with a click of a button. i got in slammed the door shut and turned on the engine.
