Friends

Yes it's true we grow apart,

I don't even want to start!

But I know somewhere somehow were gonna start,

Drifting away like a rushing river.......

And it's truly sad because you and I were cool before!

No one could ever break our bond!

I guess he\she came and did the impossible......

Made you forget about our pact to be friends.

Now it's too late to build that ladder of trust back up.

Forever isn't what it use to be anymore.

At one point in life I thought you'd always put me first,

I know it sounds silly but at the time it seemed right....

I know this was a friendship not a relationship but its still meant to last right?

All those secrets that we shared.......Did you even keep them?

It's fine if you didn't just know I kept my word.
