ALISSA POV
I woke up not to the sun shining on my face but to the sound of my ringtone. I checked to see the caller ID and it was Lily.
"Hello?" I groaned
"Uhh..hey, I'd call Vee but She's not answering."
"Sure"
"I need your advice"
"Shoot" I said
"Good, what top should I wear the black one or the red?" She asked me, She woke me up at I glanced at my clock to see it was 6:30 AM.
"You woke me up at 6 in the morning for that? Whyyyy?" I whined
"Sorry, but I have a date with someone at 9" She apologized "But seriously what color?"
"I'd go for the red" I stated
"Thanks" Then she hung up and I groaned and fell back asleep and made sure to make my alarm at 8 so I won't oversleep.
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock ringing, I only have 2 hours to get ready so I started the day by taking a shower. Then I got dressed, I wore my glasses this time but not my nerd clothes, I wore a white dress with lacy designs and then I wore my black Leggings and knee high boots, I curled my hair a little and made my makeup just light, I used a purse as my bag.
I was ready already then I was waiting for about 5 minutes before our gate was opened and to the sound of our doorbell ringing.
I opened the door to see Jake standing in front of me holding a bouquet of flowers. He was wearing a black button up shirt and skinny jeans and his hair was messy in a good kind of way.
"Ready to go on our date?" He asked me handing over the flowers "These are for you"
"Thanks." I replied "and yep." I laughed a little
"well lets go shall we my lady" He held his arm out and i took it and i chuckled a bit
"We shall my prince" We both laughed and we reached his car.
We got inside the car and i started asking questions, I was really nervous about this date but he didn't seem to notice it, it is my first date after all.
"So where are we going?" I asked him with my best puppy dog eyes then he looked at me.
"Though you look really cute like that i'm still not gonna answer" He said in his serious tone then he smiled at me. "It's a surprise"
"Hmph." I huffed and he chuckled lightly.
"Don't worry we're almost there" He said to me
He parked the car.
"We are here" He stated
Then i saw it, he took me to a carnival it was my first time being here ever since my dad died.
"So, you like it?"he asked
"Like it? I love it" I said to him and he said
"I'm glad you like it now lets go" we went inside the carnival.
"This place is amazing, I haven't been here ever since my dad died" He was about to to reply but before he did that I stopped him "Don't say you're sorry also"
"Ok then" he said to me
"Lets go to that ride" I pointed at a roller coaster that had so many circles and a very long and high track.
"Umm...how 'bout not"
"Whyyy" I whined "are you afraid?" I teased him while pulling to the line
"I'm not afraid" He stated
"Then prove it"
"Fine."
We were almost next and then I heard some girls behind us, two blonde girls
"That guy is hot isn't he?" The blonde with short hair said
"Yeah. total hotness overload" The second one said "but who is that girl next to her, her clothes look amayz but glasses seriously?"
"I know right" The first one said
"Next please" The roller coaster attendant shouted
"Ready?" I asked Jake
"I think so"
"Lets go"
We rode the coaster and then Jake ended up screaming and sometimes I even saw him close his eyes it kind of made me laugh.
"You're such a tough guy when it comes to rides like that" I teased
"Oh shut up." His reply made me chuckle, after that ride we ended riding many more rides until it was 5pm.
"We should go now, I still have dinner planned for us" He said to me
"Sure, so where will we eat?" I asked him
"We are eating in a french restaurant" He said while we were walking to his car.
We parked at a restaurant that says 'La vive' with big fancy letters at the sign.
"Table for two please" Jake said to the waitress
"This way monsieur, madame" The waitress said to us and then she took us to a table with a beautiful view of the city
"Ready to order?" Jake asked me
"Yup."
The waitress came to us when we ordered
"I'll have chicken pesto penne with 2 garlic breads and 1 strawberry margarita please" I ordered
"And for you sir?" He asked him, this waitress was very nice to us, I read in books some waitresses flirts with the guy, turns out I was wrong
"I'll have your special and any kind of wine" He said
"Very well" The waitress said
We talked about many stuff, like what his favorites were and others, when our order arrived, we both loved the food and then we ended up going home. We both bid our goodbyes when he dropped me to my house.
"See you at school" He said to me
"Bye" I waved to him.
When i was almost inside he called out to me.
"Wait, I forgot something" He said to me
"What?" Then in one swift motion he kissed me, it was a very soft kiss at first I was shocked and then I started kissing him back then we pulled away
He was the first one to speak "wow"
"Yeah wow" I blushed a little "well see you at school"
I went inside the house and went directly to my room and fell sleep after I got changed.
