> Vernon became a trainee when he was around 13/14 years old

> Because of this, he's never actually had a real chance at relaxing and doing things your "average teen" does. He's spent his entire adolescent years working long hours and following strict rules.

> Not only was Vernon working but he was also exposed to feelings of intense responsibility and worry at a young age due to the pressure he was facing both in and out of the company.

> He (+ Dino) had promised at one point, pre-debut, that he'd train even harder than he already was. Even if that meant he couldn't sleep or if he got hurt, because he was told it was their one chance and he just wanted to show the best performance he could.

> He also pushed himself to work harder because he wanted to match the older members who he felt were managing more important things than he was.

> Vernon was once described as being the shyest member. Because of this, his age, and desire to avoid conflict, it's reasonable to assume he's prevented quite a few arguments among the members over the years.

> He often has to deal with people assuming or misinterpreting who he is as a person. He's treated differently, sometimes worse and sometimes better, than his peers and it's obviously something that he's noticed even when he was a kid. This has aided in shaping a lot of his views on the world around him.

> One time he accidentally struck up a conversation with a stranger on the subway because the guy was watching a movie on his tablet and Vernon kept leaning in to watch too

> but it turned out okay because said guy was really nice and let him use his headphones and they watched the movie together until they had to get up to let the elderly sit down

> so then they just talked for a while and at the end Vernon, a professional, gave him his 17 business card

> Hansol likes movies, chocolate, bunnies, cats, and dogs.

> He's also extremely ticklish?

> His family is incredibly important to him; he looks up to his parents and he wants to be successful so his little sister can look up to him

> He's talked about how difficult it is to stay away from home all the time and it's visible that it really affects him

> His favorite place is his house. He said it was the best place in all of Korea(how cute)

> Besides rapping he also plays the guitar

> and he learned how to play guitar from his dad

> so I guess it's not all bad because when he plays guitar he can feel closer to home

> Overall Vernon's a fairly diligent and empathetic person who just strives to do the right thing
