Chapter 4

I get into my car and start driving to school.

It didn't take long to get there and as soon as I did the girls where there waiting for me.

On the way to roll call the amount of people staring at us and saying hey was unbelievable. I swear I spoke to everyone on that we walked passed.

I felt happy that I was already settling in well.

"Hey " a familiar voice called out to me. I spun around to see Beau standing there smiling at me.

"Oh hey," I turned back to the girls who were patiently waiting for me "I'll catch up with you guys later"

They all nodded and walked back down the hallway. I faced Beau again.

"So how was your first day anyway?" he asks me.

"It was great definitely better than I expected!" I say cheerfully.

"Good to hear, um I was wondering..."

"Yes?" I ask him as he stops and scratches the back of his head.

"Me and the boys are shooting another video after school and I was wondering if you wanted to join in?" he asks me nervously.

"Yeah um sure. Will it be okay with the boys though?" I ask.

"Yeah I asked them yesterday. Wanna walk to roll call now?"

"Oh I nearly forgot yeah we should" I laugh.  

We walked and eventually parted ways to our roll call classes.

First of I had P.E. so I got changed with Melissa who was the only one in that class that I properly knew.

We headed out on the field with our ugly sport tops on with some black shorts.

We played soccer and through the middle of the game I heard someone call my name so I stopped to look and saw Beau on the other side of the field waving at me.

"Hey what is your class playing-" I got cut off when a football came out of nowhere and hit him in the head and knocked him over.

Mel and I ran over to Beau who was surrounded by by the rest of the guys.

The coach ran over to him and tried waking him up but soon figured he'd been knocked out.

He called the ambulance just to be sure it wasn't anything serious and because Mel is Beau's sister she had to go with him. But of course she made me come too.

So there Mel and I sat in the waiting room of the hospital waiting for my mum to come and give us the news about Beau's condition. I asked personally for my mum to check out Beau (Because she's a doctor at this hospital). I thought it might put Mel's mind at ease knowing that it wasn't some random nurse.

I hated hospitals they always reminded me of my Dad and my brother's accident.
