Chapter 3

I was awoken in the morning by Roshon shaking me awake

"K, wake up. I'm bored. Mom and Dad went to work. Let's go to that music café down the road"

I mumbled an okay and got out of bed groggily as Roshon left the room

I put on one of my new ripped jean material shorts and a stripped shirt and suspenders

I don't usually take selfies or OOTD pictures but HEY! I'm in the mood for it! I snapped a pic and instagramed it. One thing to note, ALL of the social networking sites I had accounts for, well my ex parents have known nothing about it

Soon, my phone started blowing up with comments from my classmates and a couple of random followers

"I thought you were DEAD!"

"Claire, is that you?"

"Looking good!"

Don't worry, my classmates won't tell. I mean, I was kinda popular...

My phone beeped again and this time, it was a whatsapp group with ALL my classmates in it, my 3 best friends included, and Justin my ex not so ex crush

Here's the conversation...

Bradley: Clarissa! Didn't you die in the fire?

Justin: Yeah. No offense though

Jerome: What happened?

Jeffrey: The fire department couldn't find you and found evidence of you and announced you "dead"

Polly: CLARISSA MAGGIE CHESTER WHERE ARE YOU?!

Jade: CLAIRI YOU IDIOT

Jaslyn: ARE YOU OKAY?!?

Me: I'm fine. I threw in loads of my hair and clothes and well, moved to LA. My name's officially now Mikayla Peyton Adams!

Jocelyn: DANGG!! Looking fine girl! That fast?

Me: Yeah. Please don't tell anyone

Bradley: We won't. Under one condition, you come back and visit us and spend some time with us here

Me: Of course! I miss you guys already!

Justin: I doubt people would recognize you. With your make over, you look HOT

Oh NOW he decides to notice me. All those tears and feelings wasted. I instantly started hating my long time crush

Me: Take it slow on the comments. I'm flattered ._. I gotta go guys. Going out with Roshon

Justin: Who's he? Your boyfriend?

Me: No, he's my new brother

Justin: Oh, okay. Bye babe ;)

Bradley: Bye Bye!

Justin: Bye! x

Jerome: BYEEEE

Jeffrey: Bye! See you soon!

Polly: Bye you crazy person!

Jade: I hate you! Just joking! Bye!

Jaslyn: Bye :(

Jocelyn: Bye darling!! :)

Harry: Wait WHAT?! OMG BYE!!

I laughed at Harry's sillyness and made my way downstairs

"Looking fine sissy!"

"Thanks Pororo! Come on! Get off your butt and let's go!"
