Chapter 9: Gone Forever

Inspector Marsh helped Miss Archy out of the car, Joseph opened the boot & unfolded the wheelchair. "Are you okay ma'am?" The inspector asked respectively "No. Of course not. I've just lost my son to two demonic freaks which I didn't even know existed until 2 days ago. I've had NO sleep I've been in and out of hospitals, I've barely eaten or drunk, does THAT answer your question Mr Inspector Marsh?!".

Joseph put his hand on her shoulder "It's okay. He was trying to be nice". She nodded and apologised to the inspector, A sad miserable look took over Miss Archy's face as she thought of the sound of Jimins voice whispering into her ear. Marsh took hold of the handles on the back of the wheelchair and said "Joseph, follow us. We're going to see the head of MI5". He nodded and began to walk alongside Miss Archy.

As they made there way towards the end of the, white, clean, car lot, Joseph & Miss Archy felt like they was being watched, well, in fact they knew they was as above them on each column where black circular security cameras. All of which directing there lenses at the 3 making there way towards the 10ft cream door. Suddenly, a desk rose from the floor. Behind it sat a young, handsome man typing away on a computer. "Stay there, This is for security measures" the inspector commanded. The command was well received & they did as he said.

Miss Archy whispered to Joseph "I don't like this. I'm worried. I don't mean to worry you, I know I'm an adult but this is in my mind and probably in yours very confusing". Joseph understood what she was saying, of course it was confusing. The government knew exactly what was going on with The old lady & the house, so why didn't they act before?. That was the question that was running through both Joseph & Miss Archy's mind.

The Inspector walked back over to Miss Archy & Joseph, "We're clear to go in, please make sure not to interrupt anyone working as we're trying to crack the case involving Mrs Havisham & Mr Havisham" "We've also had reports of a black figure that attacked colleagues at a police station in St Albans". They both nodded to show they agreed to Marsh's terms & conditions.

Marsh carried on pushing the wheelchair towards the door. Joseph was looking around checking out all of the flashy vehicles in which all of them reflected upon the white floor. There was almost every luxury car that a mega car fan could dream of, from Porsche to Lamborghini, Ferrari to Mercedes. Josephs favourite car was the new Lamborghini Gallardo.

They had finally reached the giant of a door & Marsh let go of the wheelchair. He walked up to the right side of the door & put his hand in the wall. Unexpectedly, a small white squared slid over to the right. Marsh leaned forward & put his eye up to the square. Blue lasers beamed out of the box scanning his eye. Then, there was another layer of security. The box changed to a keyhole, Marsh pulled out a key from his grey blazer & inserted it into the hole. He turned it clockwise until a click sound was made.

Suddenly, but slowly, the white beastly door began to move inwards. Beyond it was an office, rows and rows of desks. Around 1000 people sat at these desks typing away on there computers some of them on the phone. Above them stood a long row of glass panels. Behind the two middle panels stood 2 very smartly dressed people. "Who are they?" Asked Joseph, "'They are my bosses. You're going to be speaking to them about your events over the past 2 days. Afterwards, we will take you to the MI5 cafeteria & give you food and drink, we will also provide you both a room to sleep in so you're safe". Miss Archy thought to herself 'Holy cow! I wish Jimin & Stephen could see this'. Joseph was astonished by the service they was offering, but was still suspicious of why they wanted them.

As the 3 of them made there way into the offices, Miss Archy remembered something about the name 'Mrs Havisham'... The memory took her back nearly 25 years during an English class. "That's it!" Miss Archy shouted "What's what?" The inspector asked. "Mrs Havisham... it's a poem! I remember" She said with an excited but frightened tone. "Hold that thought then ma'am, my bosses are going to want to know this more than I need to!".
